Ice Cream Man is an unofficial - though very professional and extremely good looking! - fansite, dedicated to the gorgeous and talented Rupert Grint. Alas, we are in no way affiliated with Rupert, his family or representatives. (*sob*) The site is ad-free and non-profit. All media is the property of their respective owners - no copyright infringement intended.
August 23, 2012, 3:12pm– In honour of Rupert Grint‘s birthday tomorrow, Stylelist has released an article about Rupert‘s signature look that we all adore, and how it has changed over the years.
Although he may not have quite the fashion cred of Hermione Granger, the British-born actor has solidified his off-screen look. Whether walking the red carpet or doing errands, you can expect to see the child star wearing his uniform: a graphic t-shirt, blazer and dark slacks.
So take a walk down memory lane and enjoy all the lovely pictures of Ruperthere! What is your favourite look? Let us know in the comments.
Thanks Brittany for the tip!
Our special “Rupert Grint Birthday Project” continues and there is still time for you to donate to Rupert‘s favourite charity, Teenage Cancer Trust. Read more about it and donate HERE! Every penny counts, and we want to fulfill Rupert‘s special birthday wish.
August 8, 2012, 4:13pm– Rupert Grint appeared on Beat TV last night, and although we still have to wait a little bit longer for the episode to appear online, they have now released a special behind the scene clip featuring Rupert and Olympic swimmers Alison Schmitt and Elisabeth Beisel.
In this clip “Rup-Dog” talks about everything from his recent projects, including Postman Pat, CBGB and Into the White (or now known as Cross of Honour in the UK), his favourite place in London and which sport he would choose if he competed in the Olympics.
Check it out below:
Stay tuned for the entire episode – we expect it to be posted online shortly, it’s a good one
Remember you can still donate to Teenage Cancer Trust in our special Birthday ProjectHERE. Every penny makes a difference!
UPDATE: Beat TV has released another behind-the-scenes video which focuses on Samantha Grint‘s performance on the show. Check it out here!
August 1st, 2012, 6:06am– There are only 24 days until Rupert Grint turns 24-years-old and this means that it is time for our annual Birthday Project. Every year, fans from around the world come together to make August 24 extra special for Rupert, and this year we have decided to do a project close to Rupert‘s heart and our own. Instead of sending Rupert a gift or a birthday card, we want you to use that money on a donation for Rupert‘s favourite charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust!
We have decided to make the entire month of August our “Teenage Cancer Trust Awareness Month” and we plan on promoting this cause on the site as well as on our Facebook, our Twitter and our Tumblr. But we cannot do this without your help – so please help us spread the word to anyone and everyone that you know. Every little bit helps, and we want this project to become a huge success!
As you all know, we had the chance to ask Rupert a few questions at the Olympic Torch Relay last Wednesday, and we took the opportunity to ask which charity was closest to his heart. You can see his response below:
We have made it easy for everyone to donate by creating a Just Giving page where all the donations go directly to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Our page can be found HERE! When you have donated you will be able to leave a Happy Birthday message for Rupert which we will pass along to him on the big day.
UPDATE: We have received a statement from Teenage Cancer Trust about this Birthday Project and what the money donated will help achieve:
We are honoured that Rupert Grint and his fans have chosen to celebrate his 24th birthday by raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Every penny will make a massive difference to the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.
As the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the, we build specialist units within NHS hospitals bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. We want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live. With your support we know we can achieve this.
Thank you.
July 25, 2012, 7:24am– In a couple of hours Rupert Grint will take part in the incredible honour of carrying the Olympic Torch at the Olympics 2012 which, as we all know, is being held in London! Around the Rings have released a statement about the Olympic Torchbearers and why they were chosen for this special event – as it turns out, Rupert was nominated for all the great charity work he has done:
He was nominated through the Lloyds TSB campaign for inspiring others through his extensive work with children’s charities across the UK. Rupert is actively involved with charities Starlight and the Make-A-Wish Foundation which grant once-in-a-lifetime and magical wishes to seriously and terminally ill children. He also spends much of his free time working with the Teenage Cancer Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
Remember that you can watch the entire Torch Relay live HERE! Rupert is set to leave Middlesex University at 1:47pm UK time. So stay tuned. We will of course update you all here on the site and on our twitter where we might even post an exclusive goodie or two
Our staff is present at the relay and will try to update us throughout the event. We have already uploaded some pictures from Middlesex University where you can see how they are preparing for the torch (and Rupert) to arrive in the beautiful summer weather. Another interview has surfaced, this time by The Telegraph:
July 4th, 2012, 5:35pm– Tonight Rupert Grint attended the Annual F1 Party which was held to celebrate the official launch of the 2012 Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The party was hosted by Great Ormond Street Hospital and Formula One Management and took place at Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park. Rupert attended the party with his younger brother James, and they both looked handsome on the red carpet.
Not only does this sound like a fun night for Rupert and James, but the party also helped raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital:
This year, the F1™ Party will begin fundraising for the new surgery centre, where some of the world’s most renowned paediatric surgeons will be operating on patients as young as a few hours through to 18 years old.
Check out the first picture of Rupert attending the F1 Party in our gallery here! We will update with more pics as soon as they become available.
