July 14, 2009, 8:54pm — Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, and Jessie Cave were guests on Claudia Winkleman’s Arts Show on BBC Radio 2!

Rupert talked to Claudia’s sidekick Colin about the relationships between Ron and Lavender as well as how some “Lavender” characteristics tend to appear in enthusiastic fans! Sounds familiar, huh? He also talked about some gifts he use to get from fans! We can hear it here,  Rupert and Daniel at the beginning and Jessie (Lavander Brown) in the end where she talks about her character’s relationship with Ron!

There is also new interview is available online from Moviefone with Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, Michael Gambon and director David Yates. You may know that this interview is kind of special because all the questions are made by fans! So this time Rupert has to answer some questions like “Do you ever Google yourself, man?” , “Do you ever have dreams in which you’re Ron?”

Here’s a taste of one of his answers:

If you had a girlfriend like Lavander Brown, how would you dump her? “I don’t know. Im not really good at that kind of things. I’ll probably just…not do it. I don’t know, I’ll probably end up married before I dump her.”

July 12, 2009, 3:42 pm – While Rupert Grint was in New York, he attended the 2009 Pepsi Max Bullrun Launch Party, hosted at the Soho House. The party was thrown last Friday (July 10) and Rupert was photographed! So we have some of those photos in our gallery over here and more to come!

We also want to remind you that we are currently working on the exclusives that we got for you at the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Among many things we got an interview with Rupert Grint and another one with Daniel Radcliffe, where he talks wonders about Rupert. So stay around because these will come up soon!

July 7, 2009, 12:02am– Film reviews on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince are being published on the web, but even more exciting for us are the reports about Rupert Grint’s performance as Ron Weasley. Lets start with this one from HitFix where they declare that Rupert is the “Most Valuable Player” and praise his comedy skills.

“The same is true of Rupert Grint, who has always served as comic relief among the key “Potter” characters, and who comes very close to walking away as MVP (most valuable player) of this film.  He’s grown into a very confident young comic performer, and in scene after scene, he finds the exact right pitch at which to play Ron Weasley.”

We couldn’t agree more! And then we have another review coming from CHUD. Their report is positive for the movie and of course Rupert!

“We’ve seen Ron and Rupert Grint both grow into themselves, and it lends Ron’s Quidditch success much more depth.”

July 2, 2009, 1:44 AM– E! Online has just released a First Look clip of Rupert Grint’s latest film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince titled “Harry Potter Gets Romantic”. We can see a few seconds of new footage where an excited Lavander (Jessie Cave) wishes Ron (Rupert Grint) good luck at the quidditch game while they are in the Great Hall. Watch it live on E! via there website here. E! also transmitted another short but new footage of Ron, Harry and Ginny at quidditch tryouts. Watch it on youtube here.

Several new HQ promo images of Half-Blood Prince were also released this evening from Celebutopia. Several include Ron! We have Ron and quidditch, the previously seen shot of Lavender clinging onto Ron, and a great trio moment of Ron, Harry and Hermione sitting on the floor together in a circle. June 29, 2009, 9:15pm — In a recent interview with Empire magazine, Daniel Radcliffe mentions his friend and Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint in some of his answers. For starters he talks about both his and Rupert’s hair in the Goblet of Fire era, saying that they were told not to cut it over the entire summer!

We can also read a cute  part where Rupert, Daniel and Emma once pretended to be radio presenters in the back of a van, “doing this little comedy show for each other to keep ourselves amused” Daniel said. He also goes on to say that he and Rupert never had a fight because “he’s the most totally laidback person you’ll ever meet. You could probably set fire to him and he wouldn’t really mind.”
