For the extra large t-shirt you can bid on it here and the medium one can be bided on here. Good luck!

March 14th, 2012, 6:07pm–Variety and The Hollywood Reporter along with many major outlets are reporting that Rupert Grint has joined the cast of “The Drummer” along with Chloe Grace Moretz and Aaron Eckhart. The movie is a biopic based on The Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson. Rupert will be playing Stan Shapiro, a mail room intern at William Morris, who befriended Wilson during the last few years of the musician’s life.
This film is to be a major film role for Rupert and his first major film role since Harry Potter. We are inquiring with his reps right now and filming is to start in June. We will keep you updated on any new developments that come with this project. Stay tuned!
UPDATE: First, we have official word from Rupert’s reps that this film is indeed Rupert’s next project. Secondly Hollywood.com has a quote from Randall Miller on Rupert’s role and casting: “And Miller has high hopes for Grint as Shapiro: “Rupert’s character is the window into Dennis’ world. He is the everyman who witnesses the train wreck. Rupert is going to nail it.” Thanks Masha!
UPDATE #2: Another quote from screenwriter Jody Savin: “He is a brilliant young actor whose range exceeds his already stunning body of work,” from On The Red Carpet.
March 3rd, 2012, 11:39pm–In a fun interview with The Daily MailRupert Grint and his brother James Grint talk candidly about their career choices and each other. Rupert also talks about his ice cream van and how he keeps it stocked and goes to neighborhoods giving out free ice cream.
‘I keep my van well stocked. It’s got a proper machine that dispenses Mr Whippy ice cream and I buy my lollies wholesale – 50 for a tenner – so I never run short. I’m not allowed to sell my merchandise. I’d need a licence for that.
‘I tend to avoid July and August, but the rest of the year I’ll drive around the local villages and if I see some kids looking like they’re in need of ice creams, I’ll pull over and dish them out for free. They’ll say, “Ain’t you Ron Weasley?” And I’ll say, “It’s strange, I get asked that a lot.”
The brothers had this to say about each other:
James: “If anything, Rupert’s success spurred me on to excel in my own field.”
Rupert: ‘As much as anything, I like the fact that I can attend my brother’s rally meetings. Now that we’re all grown up and no longer racing against each other, few things give me greater pleasure than seeing him win.’
Rupert also mentions that now that Harry Potter has ended he can sit back and choose his roles more wisely.
And don’t forget the world premiere of Into The White is tomorrow!
February 27th, 2012, 11:23am–Today Zentropa Norway has released another Into The White Clip featuring Rupert Grint and David Kross (as well as their co-stars). In this clip the men are sitting down to eat. David Kross’ Schwartz asks if it’s good which prompts Rupert’s Smith to insult the meal. This is our first glimpse into the antagonizing relationship that these two characters seem to have in the movie. So without further ado, you can watch the clip here:
Don’t forget that Into The White will be premiering March 4th which is just six days away. Tickets for the event, which Rupert will be attending, can be found by clicking the link below our countdown box on the left hand side of the site. ICM will be in attendance!
UPDATE: Two new articles about the upcoming premiere in Oslo have surfaced on the internet – and thanks to Malene, we now have translations of both for you Petter Næss talks about how impressed he is with the work of the German costume designers:
“I’ve never really been a fan of war films. On the other hand, the events of the war offer an inexhaustible source for great stories about conflict, animosity, friendship and powerful destinies, Næss says, while adding that he’s impressed by how the German costume designers have worked to create a proper image of the time.
- It’s easy to lose the illusion if something isn’t right. We’ve filmed in reasonably controllable surroundings, with mountains and a cabin, and there has just been minor digital post-production.”
Check them out here and here – but beware, the last article called “A universal story” contains a major SPOILER ALERT – so if you don’t want to know… save it for later!
And speaking of the costume designers – don’t forget to read our amazing interview with the costume designer Steffi Bruhn. Click here for amazing pictures and stories from the set!
