Rupert Grint Attends A Celebration of Harry Potter!
Rupert Grint Attends A Celebration of Harry PotterJanuary 30th, 2016, 1:39am–Rupert Grint arrived in Orlando, FL late last night to attend this weekend’s A Celebration of Harry Potter at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Today he took part in a few outings. First up was a live Periscope/Facebook Q&A where he and fellow HP alum Matthew Lewis answered fan questions. We learned that once in New York for an HP premiere a fan in a wheelchair attached himself to Rupert’s car! We also learned that Rupert’s favorite colors are black and purple. And apparently both Rupert and Matthew know a few random factoids about some famous natives in their homeland. You can watch it on our media site here!
Later in the day Rupert and Matthew joined fellow Harry Potter co-stars Bonnie Wright, Katie Leung, and Evanna Lynch to talk about a great many things to do with their time filming Harry Potter. We also learned that Rupert took the sorting hat quiz on Pottermore and discovered that he is Hufflepuff! Who knew? You can view some MQ images from the event here. And we’ll have HQ images very soon, so stay tuned!
Keep checking back as the celebration is all weekend long and there will be plenty of images (and hopefully other things) of Rupert!
UPDATE: Here’s a video of the Q&A from day 2 of the Harry Potter Celebration (please note that the actors appear on stage around the 40 minute mark):
UPDATE #2: Here are some HQ photos from day 1 as well as HQ photos from day 2.
