Rupert Grint’s “Charlie Countryman” gets US Distribution!

ndccIcon4June 10th, 2013, 4:44pm– More good news for all the US Rupert Grint fans to start this week off. The Hollywood Reporter writes that The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman has been acquired by Millenium Entertainment for its US distribution. The film first premiered at Sundance this year and followed up with a European premiere at the Berlin Film Festival (you can check out our exclusive coverage right here).

Millenium Entertainment CEO, Bill Lee had this to say about the film:
In his theatrical debut, Fredrik Bond’s has created a stylish, action-packed ride that hooks you from the first moments and never lets go. This is a perfect addition to our slate and we expect the film to draw audiences in all windows of release.

The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman is expected to be released later this year, we will update when we know something more specific.
