Rupert Grint in new “Into the White” clip!

» January 26 by Karo in Comrade News, Into the White News, Rupert News with 26 Comments

January 26th, 2011, 3:12 PM– VG.no have just published an article and a brand new clip from the soon-to-be-released film Into the White.

This clip features Rupert Grint as Robert Smith and Stig Henrik Hoff as Wolfgang Strunk in a “bromancy” moment while skiing! Not only do we get to see Rupert on skis and showing his competetive side, but we also hear him speak in his accent – truly a far cry from his “normal” one! :)

You can view the great clip and read the original article here.

We hope to have the translation up in a short while! Until then, enjoy the clip!

UPDATE: Thanks to Malene‘s quick work, we now have the translation of the article!

“Well, he claimed he had an uncle who had seen a pair of skis once. And he tried out on modern equipment the day before. But then we just had to move on to filming; he didn’t have a clue! He fell and rolled over and stood like a chicken; we laughed until we cried. But Rupert gave everything he had and kept, quite impressively, his good mood. Even though he was ice cold by the end of it.”

  1. loved the clip
everything is so … real. you can feel how physically hard it was to film that scene.really proud of Rupert :)

  2. This is beyond awesome! lol

Rupert on skis… boy, you need a bit of training there… wouldn’t mind teaching you. :)

The accent is amazing – sounds so great.

Although – being German myself – I need to give him a mental shove for that “Sauerkraut” :P

  3. Man, this movie is going to be absolutely AMAZING. This clip is just… Wow. And then I was all pissed when it ended there because I wanted to find out what happened next. lol

  4. Love the clip – it really shows the relationship/bromance between these two characters and also provides us with a great Rupert scene to sink our teeth into… but (almost) most importantly, it shows Norway from its absolute best side.
    So extremely beautiful!

  5. Some of us know what happens next, Tao… *bitestongue*

  6. @Malene: “Norwegian Pornography” is the word! :D

  7. An amazing clip. Why do I have the feeling that something bad is going to happen next?

  8. Ahh what a fantastic clip, i love it. With every scene i see from the film i become more excited to see Into the White. Rupert and skiing, so funny :)

  9. Great clip! I really hope I have a chance to see this movie. Rupert looks and sounds fantastic!! Does anyone else find his accent in this movie hot? ;) He is so good at doing different dialects.

  10. geez i thought snitchseeker would have this update by now. Awesome clip!

  11. Maybe its just me but I think Snitchseeker has some sort of bias against Rupert. Or at least they favor Dan and Emma more. The moment Emma has magazine photoshoot extras they’re up asap and it takes them forever if they do post info or clips on Rupert. Posts on Dan are constant and they posted that Mirror article about Dan not being friends with Rupert and I don’t think they’ve ever posted an article that was from a tabloid before.

  12. ‘I’m starting to like you’
    *Eyebrow raise*

I’m so gonna ship these two!! :P

Did Private Smith call him Sauerkraut?? XD

I hate the cliffy at the end!! I thought we’d she at least the first shot…

  13. Oops, I meant ‘we’d SEE’, not ‘we’d she.’ My bad!! XD

  14. I checked Snithcseeker and nothing on there yet but another Dan thing.

  15. Honestly….I wont calling people out but i will never understand why all those HP websites are constanly posting stuff non related to HP. I saw HP site posting about The Woman in Black Soundtrack….Come On, Ok it’s Daniel radcliffe but it has nothing to do with the Harry Potter saga.

  16. Poor thing. LOL. It must have been hard on Rupert always falling into the snow. But the clip was really amazing.

Karo: “Some of us know what happens next, Tao… *bitestongue*” I don’t know what happens next, but going by the dramatic music, I’m afraid it will be… well, something dramatic and I’m afraid of it.. Seems like looming danger.

  17. Lovely clip, I wish Rupert could do a lot of films with such good actors / directos as he did in ” into the white”.
BTW, I found this clip on youtube too ,here’s the link

  18. @Karo I know what’ll happen ;)

  19. Happy for those who “know what’ll happen” great. I don’t. So I don’t care. pffffttttt

  20. Well for the one who saw the trailer you can easily guess what will happen. And Patricia, the clip from youtube it’s exactly the same video on our news post. :)

  21. I NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!but i`m sad because it is not going to arrive in Brazil DD=,I need to see it!!rupert looks great on it,like always *-*…i laught so much of this scene, but i`m afraid about what is going to to happen next…are they going to die??!!DD=

  22. Guys, guys, guys…. It seems that this new clip is all over the web and in every site I look for it, I only see good comments. People are getting even more excited about the film ( especially they want to know what will happen in the endo of the clip). I think that Zentropa was very smart on this one.

@Anna, I know, I just wanted to share another source because it always takes me hours loading those videos from VG.no page, from youtube is quicker :-)

@mari : conterrânea!!! There were a lot of films that weren’t released in Brazi but we could see them in Rio Int’l Film Festival. I remember last year ther were films from Japan, China, Turkey, France, Ireland, Spain and even Norway. Maybe we’ll have luck, who knows.

  23. Hopefully the buzz means more countries pick it up for distribution especially US. Yes, i’ve only been reading good things too and how people are impressed with Rupert’s accent. Even Perez Hilton, who I dislike, I had to read because he praises Rupert and said “Goodbye Ron Weasley.”

  24. I have to say that I really love Stig Henrik Hoff. OK, so now you must think that I’m just saying this because of all the Rupert’s love he’s displaying, but Rupert praise aside, Stig is simply amazing!! :D Just the way he expresses himself, he cracks me up. He has a really great sense of humour. The guy is hilarious, and by the things he says you can tell that he also has a big heart. He must be a great person :) Funny and lovable, what else can you ask for?? He’s like a second Rupert.

That being said, his Rupert love only makes him all the more wonderful :P

  25. Patricia I really hope so =),but I dont live in Rio,I live in Fortaleza…but Wild Target was not supposed to come to here, but it did,i was so happy!i hope that the same happen to Into the White…nao sei se falo c vc em portugues ou ingles ,kkkk

  26. Stig is right in saying they look like teletubbies in their WWI uniforms.Rupert is really talented in adopting different accents. I’m really excited to see the movie.
