Rupert Grint: New Harry Potter Clip, Biography Update!
November 11th, 2011, 9:39 am– While Rupert Grint is currently getting ready for a weekend at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando to promote today’s US release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on DVD and BluRay, we have several Harry-Potter related news: First, thanks to BRAVO.de, a new clip has surfaced with interviews with Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, talking about Harry standing up against Snape, along with several behind-the-scenes shots: You can also see the first pictures of Rupert at the Wizarding World yesterday here in our Gallery. And finally, we have brought the current chapter of our Rupert Grint Biography up-to-date, including all the recent events about art, music videos, awards, photoshoots and premieres. Read it here. Rupert Grint Paints An Elephant!
I know what you’re thinking; how strange is this? But Rupert Grint is painting an elephant for a good cause. Rupert, along with several other celebrities, are painting elephants to support the Asian Elephant Foundation and proceeds will go to the said foundation as well as the Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The funds will pay for elephant hospitals and land for elephants to roam in the wild. There will be a total of 162 elephants being painted and will be displayed in Singapore for the Elephant Parade which is calling itself “largest open-air art exhibition solely dedicated to saving the Asian elephant.”
Unfortunately no word yet on what Rupert’s elephant looks like. But you can read all about this here which better explains everything. Continue reading
Rupert Grint: Extended Look At Last Day of Harry Potter Filming!
With “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ about to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray this Friday, many new videos are making the rounds. The latest is an extended look at the last day of filming which includes new behind-the-scenes with Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe. And while we’ve seen some of it from a previous video, it’s still quite sad to see it all over again, especially with new angles and such. There are a few moments we see Rupert on the verge of tears, if not flat out crying. You can view the clip here.
In slightly happier news, in case you somehow didn’t know, Rupert is nominated for Favorite Movie Star Under 25 in this year’s People Choice Awards along with Dan, Emma and Tom Felton. Rupert Grint donates painting to HRH Prince Charles’ “The Prince’s Trust”!
You all know that one of Rupert Grint‘s hobbies is art, and once again, Rupert donates a piece of his art for a good cause – a very special one at that:
A painting of Rupert is up for an auction to raise money for “The Prince’s Trust”, founded by Prince Charles himself.
The acrylic painting, which you can see below, will be open for viewing from 31 November to 5 December and on 7th December 2011 from 6.30pm at the Assembly Rooms in Bath by appointment only. The sale begins on the 7th December at 7.45pm.

Rupert Grint: Quotes and new images from Harry Potter Page to Screen!
November 4th, 2011, 7:32PM– Many of you might be aware that today marks the tenth anniversary of the World Premiere of Rupert Grint‘s very first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. With the recent release of the book Harry Potter – Page to Screen, many new images have been published, which we have added to our gallery for your viewing pleasure. We have also updated the Quotes section on our Biography page with new quotes from the book as well as Ed Sheeran and more. If you are not sure whether you should purchase the book, I can only recommend it. While you may know a lot about the Harry Potter films, it contains a great amount of little tidbits and stories that are great fun to read, along with many images from the making of the films. For example, Rupert (and his co-star Daniel Radcliffe) were 4’10” in height when they started filming the first film. Also, Rupert recently attended Break’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, where his sister Samantha performed. You can see a picture here. Continue reading
