October 9th, 2011, 10:03AM– As recently mentioned, Rupert Grint is currently attending this years BBC Teen Awards at Wembley. Rupert himself was nominated as best actor for his performance as Ron Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and he just won. Rupert couldn’t believe it:
“I’m just the ginger one in the background, this shouldn’t be happening!”
Well Rupert, you are definitely not just the one in the background for us and we couldn’t be more happy for you.

Ed Sheeran is also attending the awards and just won an award, so we are hoping for more news from the new ginger dream team!

I can’t even begin to talk about how proud I am right now. Firstly to all the British fans for getting it right! Voting Rupert best actor is the way to go.
And secondly for the fact that Rupert did win and he finally gets the award and everyone can see how loved he is and how much he deserves an award for his phenomenal acting!

About damn time he finally gets recognize. I’m so happy that he won, he has been deserving since day one. Glad that people came to their senses.
