Rupert Grint to attend BBC Teen Awards, Wizarding World of Harry Potter Celebration!

October 6th, 2011, 5:29AM– With his nomination in the category “Best British Actor” for his performance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Rupert Grint has been confirmed to us by his reps that “hopefully” he will attend BBC Teen Awards on Sunday October 9, 2011 in London. Voting was open for UK residents only, so we had to keep our fingers crossed for him!

Also, we have received word from his reps that Rupert is too “hopefully” going to attend the celebration event at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in November this year. If you want to attend, and possibly attend a Q&A with him, you can order your ticket here.

Additionally, it has been announced today that the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Leavesden is will open its doors on 31 March 2012.

Rupert talked about the detail that went into the sets that were hardly to see on screen,

“….but when you actually walk through them, you can see all the work that’s gone into it. It’s really amazing,”

Tickets go on sale on October 13, 2011, with a few early tickets being available this coming Monday.

    why a wizarding world of harry potter celebration? i thought there has been one already ? with the opening of the park.. its too far from me again :( i just cant go

    @fleur this is the Celebration for the DVD of DH Part 2 from what I heard. There wil be also Warwick Davis, Evanna Lynch, Jessie Cave, Mark Williams, the Twins and David Bradley

    I’ll be in London Tomorrow and sunday, do you know where this even settles exactly so I can take full of pictures?? I’ll not be able to enter the building since I’m 22 and only teens are allowed So do you think there is a chance to see him if I wait outside ??

    Thank You kathy !! Do you Know around which time he’ll be there?? I know nobody can Know for sure but i’m so desperate, I have to take my train at 7pm sunday night. I CAN’T MISS HIM lol.
