Rupert Grint: ICM Exclusive – Exploring Comrade in Grotli!

Rupert Grint: ICM Exclusive – Exploring Comrade in Grotli!August 29rd, 2011, 3:44pm–Following the new and very interesting article from the Norwegian International Film Festival yesterday about Rupert Grint and his new film, Comrade – we are finally ready to introduce our first Comrade goodie – and it is an ICM Exclusive indeed!

In June 2011, staffer Majbritt and ICM-regular Malene (sisters in real life ;-)) visited Grotli, Norway where Comrade was filmed just a few months earlier. The visit turned out to provide us with so much more than expected – the plane from the film out in plain sight as well as stories about the cast and crew – including of course our very own Rupert Grint.

We came with a lot of questions, but got answers to questions we never would have thought of ourselves… What would you expect Rupert‘s biggest scare on the mountain to be? 😉 What unforeseen forces affected the filming at a very crucial moment? How did he really feel about the infamous haircut?

Read all about our Comrade experience here

We hope you enjoy our tale from the wilderness – and be sure to check out the brand new pictures from Grotli and Gardermoen in the Gallery

I’m taking that image of Majbritt at the hotel’s reception and imagine Rupert standing in front of it.
And I take that image of the piano and imagine Lachlan Nieboer playing it.

So excited!!!!

Thanks to you two!

Not only spiders but reindeers, too?! I volunteer myself to be his personal bodyguard against both.

Yesterday I was going to ask you about the goodies you’ve promised some time ago, but then I just held back my impatience. So I was a bit over excited when I saw the newest update. Thank you Majbritt and your sis for a very interesting article.

Cool, thanks so much Majbritt and Malene for that fascinating report. Too bad Rupert hated his bowl hair cut. I fell in love with it. 😉

I can’t believe you guys. This is so incredible 😀 Thank you so so much for this!! Those anecdotes are so funny!! 😛 Who would have said Rupert was afraid of the reindeers?? XD Gosh, what I wouldn’t give to see him running out of his room screaming ‘Oh my God!! Oh my God!!’. That receptionist was so lucky!!

Reindeers are just so cute, but it can be surprising to see them if they’re in a big herd so my guess is that Rupert was just really really surprised to see them outside his window… but we still had quite a laugh about it with the receptionist 😀
