Rupert Grint attends US Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!

July 12th, 2011, 5:48am– Only a few hours ago, Rupert Grint graced the red carpet at the US Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Rupert was once more the first cast member to arrive and the last to leave, spending a huge amount of time with the fans for autographs, pictures and hugs; and giving interviews.

By the time he had reached us, he was drenched in sweat due to the heat, but happy to answer questions and give us a sample of his Scouse accent, which we will get to enjoy in Comrade, surprising us by saying the F word to do so. Our own pictures and videos will be up soon enough.

But that’s not all. These days quotes seem to be flying around mentioning Rupert left and right – and of course, we could not be happier about this. Berliner Morgenpost did an interview with Emma Watson, where she mentioned Rupert:

Journalist: … But in return, you three have the chance to stand on a bridge of Hogwarts after all the battles are over and to be caught by the camera in a way that one cannot help getting goose bumps.
Emma: You know what? Rupert and I were allowed to see the film at several screenings in advance. When we talked some days ago we realized that both of us cried at this very point.
Journalist: Rupert and crying?
Emma: Yes, he said, of course, that he got “wet eyes”. Utter nonsense, he cried. Just like me. That was the moment when we knew it’s over now.

Do I get an “aaaaww”? :-)

    Oh my goodness!! He should live in Spain so that he could be sweaty all day!! :D He looks SO hot with the hair plastered to his face *drools*

    The pictures with the 4 boys together are AMAZING!! Why did they wait so long to give us pics with just the boys?? Rupert and Dan looks so happy in their pics together!! But what’s up with Emma?? Maybe that dress was too tight XD

    I love the Danpert feeling I’m getting from these two. Usually it’s Dan and Emma the ones who are bubbly and kind of intimate with each other. But in this case it looks like Dan and Rupert are having a lot of fun with each other. Maybe for Dan it was seeing Rupert with that T-shirt at his show XD Emma is weird though… :/ She looks like an ice queen. Wonder if she wasn’t feeling all right?? :?

    @Trude: Rupert did more than Dan and Emma since he went to Spain and Amsterdam as well. Or rather, he did more directly-for-the-fans promotion. Plus, both in London and New York he was the first to arrive and the last to leave, and he spent way more time signing and posing for the fans than Emma and Dan (Rupert arrived more than 15 min before them yesterday…)

    Now, off to that screening of DH2! :D

    Aw josh is so mean with Rupert!, obviously i know he is joking. i loved Ruperts face when he gave him the cookies, and when he drops the cookies on the floor.
    i have a doubt, this s it for Rupert promoting DH? i’m talking about, tv shows, interviews, screenings, and all that stuff.
