Rupert Grint on the cover of Esquire UK!

Rupert Grint on the cover of Esquire UK!April 6th , 2011, 4:59am– While Rupert Grint is busy filming Comrade in Norway, an article has been published on announcing that several celebrities have designed their own cover for Esquire UK Magazine on behalf of their 20th anniversary.

Among them is none other than Rupert Grint, and you can find his cover here in our Gallery. It shows images of him that we have not seen before, so we might even be looking forward to a new photoshoot! šŸ™‚
Note that the cover has been designed by Rupert himself!

We will let you know when and how this edition will be available, so keep checking back!

Thanks to Masha for the tip and translation! šŸ˜€

UPDATE: The cover was part of the Take Cover project, with the magazine out in March with a limited edition of covers, so unless you have already gotten hold of a copy, you might be out of luck. :/ But it is good to know that Rupert is among those Esquire has “admired over the last two decades”!

Rupert would have made a good graphic designer.

I love that he put himself in a crown in the corner! So much win!

By “designing” the cover, what exactly did he do? Did he do the whole drawing thing? (It’s a drawing isn’t it?) If so Rupe is soooo amazing. I always know he is, but I ask the question to know to which level exactly.

what happened with the new movie post??!

April 6th, 2011 at 10:46 AM

Ok so I kinda love this cover

April 6th, 2011 at 11:53 AM

Did he draw himself? Or did he ‘design’ photos of himself and add the dog, crown, arrow, etc. ?
If he drew the pictures of himself (even if he just copied photos) all by his own he definitely is a very advanced drawer! o_O

Yes i wanted to know to if it’s him who draw himself because if it’s him gosh he is so good.

Sorry for my english.

Couldn’t we just ask his reps?? šŸ˜›

April 6th, 2011 at 2:05 PM

It’s hard to tell but I think it’s a picture of him that he drew over. Kinda like those stupid commercials here that have that type of animation. Anyway, I love that his humor shines through out it.

He definitely has that Andy Warhol style about his art. I wish I could get my hands on this cover!!

April 6th, 2011 at 5:31 PM

Oh rereading my comment. I want to make it clear I don’t like the commercials not Rupert’s drawing. I actually find it very refreshing.

Guys, Iā€™m pretty sure that the guy with the green shirt here
and the guy third from right here
is Rupert. What do you think?

If it’s true Hannah, he cut his hair really short, but it’s a possibility.
