Rupert Grint: Harry Potter to be honoured at the BAFTAs!
February 3rd, 2011, 3:12 pm–Rupert Grint recently spoke up about the lack of nominations for the Harry Potter films. Earlier today it was announced that the Harry Potter films will be honoured at the BAFTAs! The franchise will be honoured with the award for “Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema”. The award ceremony is taking place on 13 February in London, and producer David Heyman and author J.K. Rowling will be there to pick up the award for the Harry Potter films. In the official press release, Rupert was quoted saying this about the honour for the franchise: “Thank you so much BAFTA for this amazing Award. We have spent half our lives making these films and are so proud of the pleasure they have given the fans and the contribution they have made to British cinema.” Continue reading
Exclusive: 2006 High Quality Rupert Grint Photoshoot!
You may remember some time ago a photoshoot that involved several pictures of Rupert Grint near a truck that were done to promote “Driving Lessons”. In other exciting news, Warner Bros. has officially released the date and details of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ DVD and Blu-Ray. The release date for the US will be April 15th and the release date for the UK will be April 11th. Unfortunately the feature of Rupert Grint the regular guy seems to have been just a rumor as the details do not state this to be true. However, in its place? Rupert, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson having fun running through the forest competition. Sounds like a lot of fun!
