Rupert Grint Talks Oscar Nominations at South Bank Sky Arts Awards!
January 31st, 2011, 1:16 pm– Last week, Rupert Grint attended the South Bank Sky Arts Awards. Today, the Evening Standart published quotes of Rupert and Richard Griffiths regarding the Academy Award nominations for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Asked about the lack of nominations in the major categories, Rupert said that “We don’t expect it.” With the final film out in July, Rupert said: “Either way, the final movie will be huge. We did some re-shoots at the end of the year. We’re really going to go out with a bang. That’s everyone’s goal really. It’s kind of going to be pretty epic.” About this years nominations in the categories Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects, Rupert was quoted: “It would be great to see the technical [team receive] recognition. Re-launch of Rupert Grint Press!
Back in late 2010 we had an “unfortunate incident” that wiped out a few of our subsites. One of those subsites was our Rupert Grint Press site which collected every available article that was about Rupert or given by Rupert. And while it’s not 100% to its former glory, the good news is that 98% of it is intact and ready to go. Not only that, but all of 2010 is available as well as some new articles for 2011! We will also be adding and perfecting the press area that was, even before the incident, sorely lacking. This is one of the many updates we plan to bring you in the coming weeks and months. Rupert Grint Featured in Two New Deathly Hallows Images
Rupert Grint shows his lovely face in two new images from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows recently leaked from Belga Pictures and this super secret tumblr account respectively. The first picture shows Ron (Rupert Grint), Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Hermione (Emma Watson) looking frightened and battle-worn, staring up at something that is causing a certain amount of terror on their faces. Rupert Grint In Comic Relief Skit!
The Sun is reporting that Rupert Grint will appear in a skit for comic relief this year along with big named stars including Paul McCartney, David Beckham, Keira Knightly, and George Michael along with other known British stars. We have sent an e-mail to Rupert’s representatives to make sure this is 100% legit and we will let you know as soon as the information comes to us. Rupert Grint Attends South Bank Sky Arts Awards!
January 25th, 2011, 10:48 am– With Rupert Grint‘s film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 nominated twice for the Academy Awards, Rupert has attended the South Bank Sky Arts Awards earlier today at the Dorchester in London!
