A couple of weeks ago, Rupert mentioned at the private Meet and Greet event for Cherrybomb that he would need to have his tonsils taken out because he repeatedly had tonsillitis. This has happened last week, and Rupert is already at home and is recovering from the surgery.
You may leave your “Get well soon” messages for Rupert in the comments so we can forward them to him.
And while we’re wishing Rupert a speedy recovery, we can all enjoy this new poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and are looking forward to seeing Rupert at the premieres next month!

I had to get my tonsils taken out when I was about 5 years old! So, I know it’s not a great feeling… but the bright side is at least you’re well equipped with your Mr. Whippy truck and don’t have to go too far for some ice cream! Best investment, ever. haha. Feel better, you’re epic and deserve a good rest and a quick recovery. =]

I myself got my tonsils removed when I was about 10, it did feel a little bit painful at the first couple of days after the surgery , but I could eat as much ice cream as I like ! So it was worth it right ?:D

Get well soon!!!! Now you have an excuse to eat all the ice cream you want! Surgery isn’t all that fun I had surgery twice two massive ones in just 3 years. But yours was little compare to mine and longer recovery.6 weeks in cast for my ankle surgery with a screw and cadaver bone in left foot. then turn around a few months later and had melanoma cancer taking out of my right arm with two lymphnodes from armpit. Don’t talk a lot through your recovery and drink plenty of fluids. get well Rup!!

I had 3 tumors removed from my neck when i was 12 and had to spend my 13th birthday in the hospital( definitely an unlucky number for me haha) anyway get well soon man can’t wait to see you kick ass in Deathly Hallows 1 and 2 gonna be epic.
