Rupert Grint: Rupert Possibly Attached to “Come Fly With Me” On BBC Next Month!
September 5, 2010, 12:10 AM-There were some reports flying about on Twitter the other day that Rupert might possibly appear on the BBC show, “Come Fly With Me”. According to The Sun, David Williams and Matt Lucas, who are comedy sketch writers for such shows as Little Britain and Rock Profile, have been rumored to signed Rupert on as a character that will appear on the show next month.
The show is set in a busy airport. If you’d like to learn a bit more about the show, you can take a look on our Filmography page.
While this is a very exciting prospect for Rupert, we are still awaiting confirmation from Rupert’s reps. As soon as we hear something from them, we will let you know.
You may read the article here.
We’re also preparing the next edition of Grintastic as well, so if you’d like to submit something, the deadline for this is October 2. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please email us at grintasticonline@googlemail.com.
UPDATE: It has been confirmed by Rupert’s representatives that Rupert will indeed make an appearance on the BBC show “Come Fly with Me.” However, his exact air date is not known at this time (although, reports have indicated sometime around Christmas.) Of course, we will keep you updated as this story progresses.

Lol, I can’t believe this!! I’ve always thought it would be so cool if Rupert got to work in some comical sketches, like Dan did in that show where he played a police officer or something like that. I’ve always thought that it would be perfect for Rupert to do something like that so that he can show his talent for comedy. And now this!!
Well, I know for the time being it’s just a rumor, but still. Maybe his reps will confirm it soon ^^

Yay!! I had a good feeling about this “rumor”. This is great news. We’ll have the best Christmas present ever!! ^^

Well, I did like Little Britain, so.
I’m totally open to opinion, cause it’s a new show, and I’m curious to see Rupert in such a loose type acting style, such as, sketch like comedy (I don’t think it’s an actually sketch show, IDK.)
Like, when I think of SNL, I could never see it, so I’m preparing myself to be blown away, and to say, I knew it all along…
*sings*
“…And this Christmas, will be. A very special Christmas, for me…..yeah.”

Me too Tao! Even if it is just a guest appearance, it’ll be absolutely lovely to see Rupert on my tv around Christmas ( yay for having BBC!!!)

Sorry Bonnie Radcliffe, it’s often called SNL, I didn’t think that not everyone would know what I was getting at. Thanks, Tao for clarifying it for Bonnie Radcliffe.
