Rupert Grint: Wild Target Theatrical Release in China!
Good news for all Rupert Grint fans from Hong Kong! Rupert’s film Wild Target will be released in Hong Kong on 2 September with a Chinese title that translates to ‘This killer is very shy’. So better get ready to see Rupert sword fighting and tackling an aggressive cat (as you probably read on the last post)! Click here to see the poster in our Gallery! Rupert Grint: Interview with Young Performer Magazine!
In the latest issue of “Young Performer” magazine Rupert Grint not only graces the cover but gives an exclusive interview in which he answers questions about his career and his latest film Wild Target! Although the interview took place just before Harry Potter wrapped you will still find some new tidbits about Harry Potter, Eddie the Eagle and Wild Target. The preview of the cover and interview are not too big so we took time to type up the interview portion for you. Rupert Grint goes Wet for Deathly Hallows!
Now that there is just under 100 days for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -Part 1, we can hope to see more interviews, photoshoots and appearances of Rupert Grint. Kick-starting the countdown is this week’s EW(Entertainment Weekly) magazine. When Rupert Grint was asked about how he feels to see the end of the series, this is what he had to say with mixed emotions – “I’m ready to kind of move on now, I think,” Grint said between takes. “This film is a great way to finish the whole era, and it’s going to be sad, because obviously all my friends are here, but 10 years is enough.”
Rupert Grint: Cherrybomb wins E4 Slackers Club Battle
August 12th, 2010, 6:50am– Remember two weeks ago, we mentioned that E4′s Slackers Club is having a vote out between Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb and Alice Cooper’s Suck, where the winner will be exclusively played at all Picturehouse cinemas for one day. We are happy to announce that Rupert’s Cherrybomb won the vote out with 92% Yay to Suck’s 76% Yay! So for all those lucky people in the UK who got to watch Cherrybomb again on the big screen yesterday, we would love to hear your review about the film. Just go to our forums and share your thoughts.

Win a chance to meet Rupert Grint in Person!
Actor Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb UK DVD official release is on the 23rd August 2010. So the marketing team behind Cherrybomb are working on a contest which is announced on their Facebook Page. This contest enables fans a chance to meet Rupert Grint in person on August 23rd 2010 in London, the day the DVD has its official release. Also the E4 Slackers Club are giving a chance to see Cherrybomb on August 11th at all Picturehouse cinemas. To be able to do that, UK residents are asked to vote at the E4 Slackers Club website.
