Rupert Grint: Wild Target UK Available For Rent October 11th.

August 20th, 2010, 10:12 AM– We recently reported  that Wild Target will be having it’s theatrical release in Russia and China, and now we  can add to that  great news.

Uk fans who have missed the chance to see Wild Target starring Rupert Grint (Tony),  fellow Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows co-star, Bill Nighy (Victor), and Emily Blunt (Rose) on the big screen, will soon be able to view Wild Target in the privacy of their own homes!

According to Blockbuster.co.uk, Wild Target will be available for DVD rental on October 11th. Of course, as we all know, this is subject to change. You can read the details at their site here.

And don’t forget, to our German fans (or those with region 2 or multi-region  players)  Rupert Grint’s other feature Cherrybomb is currently available for rental and for purchase on DVD and Blu-Ray. Enter to win 1 out of 10 copies of Cherrybomb here!

Thanks, Laura.

Someone who lives in the UK… what’s the norm for these things? I know that successful movies don’t get released for 5-6 months, but less successful movies end up 4 months… but it might be different in the UK. And I thought WT was semi-successful considering the lack of promotion behind it. (Grant you, yes, buses, tv adverts, and a trailer playing in front of sex and the city 2 is nice, but the lack of showing it to critics and such made it sound like not enough promotion plus no premiere, no talk show circuit except for a few here and there of press junket interviews.) It made well over a million pounds (counting Ireland and Malta on bomojo)!

As far as I know…after 100 days or 3 months generally the movies get a DVD release…thats what happens in India as well as here in Australia. So maybe thats how it works in the UK too.

I will check out Blockbuster Australia and see if we are getting a WT release close to the UK date. Thats how it normally happen…Uk has its release and withina week we have it. :-)
