Kimberley Nixon Talks Rupert Grint Plus New Quote!

March 19, 2010, 4:28am–While Rupert Grint and Robert Sheehan (The Misfits) have been busy promoting their latest film Cherrybomb, their co-star and Rupert’s onscreen leading lady Kimberley Nixon also has a new interview with RelateMag.com! Kimberley talks a bit about Cherrybomb and reveals that the weirdest question she has ever been asked is “What do you think of Rupert Grint’s hair!” Well from a fan’s perspective it isn’t such a weird question is it? Kimberley also commented again about how sweet and quiet Rupert is.
Excerpt:
R: Cherrybomb is finally coming to the U.S. Would you mind telling us a little bit about the movie?
K: Cherrybomb is about two best friends, Luke and Malachy who are torn apart by the arrival of Michelle, my character, as they vie for her attention.
R: What was it like working with Rupert Grint and Robert Sheehan?
K: Rupert and Robert are great. They are exactly as they appear to be. Rupert is sweet and quiet, while Rob is chatty and excitable. They seem to strike the perfect balance.
R: Other than this one, what is the weirdest question you have ever been asked?
K: What do I think of Rupert Grint’s hair?

And we are also excited to share with you a new quote in a recent chat we had with the talented Rebecca Thomas who is responsible for producing the gorgeous new photos of Rupert in the latest edition of NO. Magazine. Just as we figured she has nothing but overwhelmingly sweet things to say about about Mr. Grint.
Rupert was really sweet and easy to work with.. Hope that doesn’t sound too boring! But he was very very down to earth, happy to have his photo taken in a grungey pub and very laid back about outfits and getting changed etc etc.. He didn’t act like a massive star who earns millions in any way just a sweet, normal young guy, in fact less big headed than most boys his age famous or not!

Rupert is seriously sweet and quiet….he is simply shy…I love him

Rupert is sweet and quiet. We get always this. He must be like that, if everyone says this. Or he paid them to say this. Which is I can’t imagine.
Girls: he could be the perfect man!
except there isn’t such thing (perfect man i mean)

Those comments from Kimberly and Rebecca are great! On the other hand, we really wouldn’t have expected them to say anything different, as what they said about Rupert is what everyone has said about him.
It’s so nice that there are some actors who truly are nice people, because from what I understand, most of them are nightmares. This is one of the main reasons why I’m a fan of Rupert – I can’t stand people who are arrogant and think they’re better than everyone else.

I loved what Rebecca and Kim said.
It’s always great to hear stuff like that.

I’m confused. “Cherrybomb is finally coming to the US”. I thought our country didn’t pick up promotion for this movie. Is it being shown in the US? If so, when? E! News and the Daily 10 better stop promoting tiny pictures and trailers from Twilight that don’t even matter (sorry, I have a HEEEUUUGGGEEE vedetta against that “franchise”); and start promoting Cherrybomb and HP!

*that’s vendetta, not vedetta.

I’m with Kristin M. I was thinking the same thing. Did I miss something? Is Cherrybomb coming to the US, or is that a typo? Did they mean U.K.?

@Kristin and Amber: There is no official confirmation yet, but things are looking good for the US.

Thanks Karo!!! Hoping to have some good news soon. Doing a happy dance!

Aww. Kim is so great! I really like her. I saw her in Easy Virtue the other day and she was good. So different from Michelle.

I saw some of Cranford over winter break and thought Kim did an excellent job. How fantastic must it have been for her to get to work with people like Judi Dench and Michael Gambon in your very first professional film acting job?
I’m looking forward to seeing her in other projects as she appears to have a great attitude and is very professional.
I also did a double-take about the US distribution comment, because it’s been frustrating seeing all the other regions getting CB distribution, but not the US. I’m glad it appears to be happening soon!

Whoops, that should have been “in HER very first professional film acting job.”

I iked what both Rebecca and Kim said about Rupert. Though I dont understand why asking a question about Ruperts hair was weird.
But the best part is them commention how sweet and queit he can be. It is like confirming again what others have said so far about him. It’s always great to hear stuff like that.
Good on you Rupert!
