Exclusive Updates on Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany!

March 18, 2010, 10:35 am– While we are all waiting patiently for the new trailer and promotional interviews for Rupert Grint’s film Cherrybomb, we have a couple of exciting updates for you!
As already reported, Go Crazy have saved the distributional rights for the Czech Republic, and we have just been informed that they will also release Cherrybomb in Slovakia!
But that is not all: Cherrybomb will be released in Czech Republic on 3 June 2010! The date for Slovakia has yet to be confirmed, but we will let you know as soon as it is. ![]()
Let’s hope that Rupert will be able to do some promotion for those premieres as well!
In addition to that, we can tell you that for the German version of Cherrybomb, Rupert will be synchronised by Max Felder, who has also lent him his voice for all Harry Potter films as well as Driving Lessons. For an example of Max’ work, click here to listen to his voice as Jacob Black in Twilight (“team jacob”) and as Ron Weasley (“these girls, they’re gonna kill me!”)
Also, we have some information coming up for all German fans, so make sure to check the site in the next couple of days

lol, Laura, because it’s hard to understand and all films are dubbed.
I’d rather get the original too, but everything gets dubbed here.

Very interesting that the Max Felder guy does the voice overs for Rupert’s characters
and of Jacob in Twilight, cause of course Ron is my favorite and Jacob is my
favorite Twilight character (along with Alice.)
ETA: After watching the video, why does Ron sound like that?
March 18th, 2010
Ron doesn’t sound exactly like in the clip. Max gets quite close to Rupert. He’s over-doing it there.
ETA: AJ, how many scenes are there with Ron having a voice like that? Enough, I think.
March 18th, 2010
I know how you feel, Roswitha. I live in Spain and EVERYTHING gets dubbed here…
There are some cinemas which screen the films in original version with subtitles in Spanish, but there are very few, and only very populated cities have cinemas like this. Fortunately, I live in Madrid, and close to all the original version cinemas, he he ^^
March 19th, 2010
Wow, this is really exciting! It’s really picking up! *jumps up and down*
“Oh, yes, I’m also very much looking forward to the DVD… *bitestongue*”
