March 4, 2010, 11:13 am– In addition to today’s news about the Cherrybomb release, we have just gotten word from his reps that Rupert Grint‘s film Wild Target has also been rescheduled!
It will still be released the same day as Cherrybomb, now the 23 April 2010. Make sure to mark the new date in your calenders, and we will share more with you soon!
We can also tell you that no release dates for other countries have been chosen yet, but we will let you know as soon as they become available!
And good news: Rupert is going to do promotion!

Maybe they wanted to make sure Rupert was available for the premiere and for some reason April 9th wasn’t possible. I mean, maybe them pushing it back is kind of a good sign in terms of Rupert attending. It sux for you guys who want to attend and need to plan.
That’s what I was thinking. This is probably mostly for Rupert because of scheduling conflicts. Which is fine… as long as everyone works with him!
Let’s just be happy they’re being released at all. Especially Cherrybomb.

But it was funny how when I went to the main page and saw the title of the new post, I thought it was the same piece of news as before and had a moment of puzzled confusion… XD I was like: ‘Wasn’t it Cherrybomb the film which was being pushed back to 23 April, and not Wild Target??’ XD
A bit disappointed but yeah, good thing is Rupert will have time to do the promotion (which means loads of photos and interviews *iz thinking about GQ. Why not, hehe* ) Anyway, going to mark in my calendar
I will be back from my trip to India by that time and If it releases during the same time(23rd April) here then I wont miss any premieres which is very good for me.
But maybe i will miss seeing the trailers for both movies because i wont be here.

I understand pushing back the release dates so Rupert can attend but why both on the same day again? Unless the marketing people are working together to get the most of out Rupert.
@Amu: I just realised that if we get the movies on the same day, it will be a public hoilday long weekend. Fantastic timing for a movie release. I can spend three whole days watching WT and CB. Sweet!
