Exclusive: Cherrybomb and Wild Target Getting Further Distributional Deals!
We are exited to bring you good news about Rupert Grint’s films Cherrybomb and Wild Target from the European Film Market in Berlin! Staffer Karo has met up with the representatives of The Little Film Company and Protagonist Pictures today. We can officially confirm that Cherrybomb will return to Germany thanks to Capelight Pictures! Additionally, Universal have not only taken the rights for distribution in the United Kingdom, but also for Australia! Further deals are on their way, so keep all your fingers crossed, and hopefully our International Cherrybomb Clip will give the distributors the final push! Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb Gets 15 Rating In UK!
Rupert Grint’s latest film, “Cherrybomb”, has been given a rating 15 by the BBFC. If you’re unfamiliar with this rating, it means that no one under 15 years of age in the UK will be able to see the movie. It has also been given a run time of 85 minutes and 52 seconds! Currently the scheduled release for Cherrybomb in the UK is this coming April 9th along with Rupert’s other film, “Wild Target” which does not have any rating at this time. Eddie The Eagle Talks Rupert Grint In New Interview!
A few news stories have surfaced again mentioning Rupert Grint and his involvement with the Eddie The Eagle Edwards biopic, but this new article from the Daily Mail has some slightly new information including a direct quote from Eddie and what he thinks about Rupert being cast to play him in the film! Indeed, the Eddie The Eagle story could soon be brought to the big screen, starring Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films. ‘He can’t start filming until he is clear of his Harry Potter commitments, and with everything I won’t believe it until it actually happens, but I’m quite excited,’ says Eddie. ‘The script is about more than just laughing at me. It’s looking at what I did, and what it meant. It’s about life as well as the Olympics.

Rupert Grint: Order of the Phoenix debuts on ABC!
We have a few updates to share with Rupert Grint fans first beginning with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The film is set to makes its debut on the ABC network in HD February 27th 2010 from 8 to 11pm EST. There may be some special sneak peaks to accompany the showing so we will be sure to keep you posted on that. Next up, Cherrybomb! Wow what a video campaign. It’s officially closed but in the immortal words of David Holmes, we are just god-smacked by the amount of support and participation.
