Rupert Grint: Review of Ultimate Edition DVDs!

2199z7d December 10, 2009, 10:35am–We have been given the chance to review Rupert Grint‘s first two Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in the new ultimate edition format. The movies are well worth the money to shell out for either a gift to yourself or a gift to a friend! The Rupert parts alone are worth the money as we get to see him on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, never-before-seen interviews during filming of Sorcerer’s Stone, him reading from Sorcerer’s Stone (the point of which Ron first enters the novel), as well as the first trio screen test and his screen test with Jessie Cave! You can read my entire review here!

Update: A clip of Rupert and Emma from the DVD is now on you-tube. Cute giggles overload straight from the DH set. View here!- thanks Laura.

Agree with you, the Ultimate Editions are great.

Still, it’s unfair that there’s more stuff on the BlueRay than on the regular DVD.

But I’m really glad about the screentests, cause it’s really easy to understand why those people got the parts. Jessie was too cute! :D

  2. Laura says:

Don’t have the money to buy the UE so that sucks for me lolz.

  3. Linda says:

Can’t wait to get these. I wish I had BlueRay!

  4. maria says:

“We have been given the chance to review Rupert Grint’s first two Harry Potter movies….”

Given the chance by whom? Is this in an article or something too? COOL!

  5. AJ says:

I bought a blu-ray player when it was on sale JUST so I could get HBP and the UE
    on blu-ray.

I’ve registered for that BD-Live thing on Saturday (I’ve not figured that out yet…)

I have it hooked up to my regular tv, cause I don’t have an HD tv or anything like that.

I do like the focus points that you can watch within the movie, or separately…

  6. Fleur says:

    HELLOOO guys,

well, i just wanted (cuz i dunno why, i just remembered that now and im sorry if i post this comment here) but when it was rupert grint’s 21′th birthday, we all send our wishes to rupert in the comments and, i think that rupert said he was gonna come here, on the website or make a comments himself or so? i dunno if you guys, have any news about that? or if he did and we didnt know or so?

thx sooooo much agn for this website, i just need and want to come every day here :D

  7. Carolyn says:

I’m getting the Ultimate Editions for Christmas. I can’t wait. :)

  8. Jo says:

Fleur I am not sure when or if he has come by. And Maria the WB asked Tao to review them! ;)

  9. Fleur says:

thank you Jo… well Rupert if you come here PLEAZZZZZZZ DO SOMETHING LIKE A SIGN OR SOMETHING :D

  10. TALLEY says:

I got the UE and HBP on Tuesday. Hubby said I could go ahead and open them all up even though it was for Christmans. There is soooooooooo much to see and watch. I’ve only been able to check a few things so far. Worth the money!

  11. Fleur says:

OMGGG i sooooooooooooooooooooo want to see cherrybomb :( :( :(

  12. Tao says:

When you guys can get money together and what not, I hope you can get the UE’s because they are really great and full of Rupertness. Like the R/E clip! God, I love that one. :)

The CoS UE, Chris talks about the spider scene and how much he couldn’t stop laughing because of Rupert’s performance. haha I wish I could have put that in the review, but I was reviewing the regular ones!

  13. Anonymous says:

aww! that was a cute clip! they’re so giggly.
i was wondering, would anyone be able to put UE stuff on you tube?

  14. Pixie Potter says:

I don’t see the big deal about blu-ray. Other than the quality being a little more high def what’s the big deal? Its not fair that just because you own the dvd instead of the blu-ray that you can’t register for the viewing of the Half Blood Prince. I have no desire to ever own blu-ray.

  15. Pixie Potter says:

When they decide to make the UE’s in dvd than I’ll shell out the bucks.

  16. Pixie Potter says:

My bad. They are available on dvd, lol. Don’t I feel silly now, lol.

  17. karen says:

hey i was just wondering if any of you guys were going to see the live hbp viewing on sat. if you could tell us if they mention rupert from any of the questions cuz that would be really nice

  18. lily says:

Hey guys i just wanna know if rupert´s raps is in the blu-ray or not or where is it?
