November 10, 2009, 12:42 pm– In Warner Bros. countdown for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD they have released a clip of Rupert Grint talking about his famous character, Ron Weasley. (Edit: Re-added a valid link to the clip)You can view the clip here. More info to come….There has also been another clip showing Rupert and his co-star Emma Watson which you can view here. It’s at the end with Ron and Hermione looking out of the window. The beginning shows many clips, some deleted, from one of the last scenes in the film.

In other news, ABC Family will be hosting their annual Harry Potter weekend December 4th-6th in which they’ll be airing exclusive footage of the ultimate editions of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. You can read all about it here!
Update: The nominees for the People’s Choice Awards have just been announced, and Rupert’s film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is nominated in several categories: Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe are nominated as Best Screen Team; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is nominated as Favourite Movie, and the Harry Potter series as Franchise.

That’s a bummer!! I had just watched them before I sent in the news. They must have been set to private after that.
Sorry. Rupert talking about Ron was really cute. It was kind of a fast journey through all HP movies so far. Seems we have to be patient and wait for the HBP DVD to be released.

when he talks about ron and harry talking for the first time on the train, i like the way he says ‘that’s where their friendship sort of starts’, and he moves his head from side to side. CUTE!

Oh man this is cool. It seems like all of us are totally smitten by that accent today. He does a lot of super cute stuff, like the beginning as you mentioned Rose and the very end when he is like “yeah” and then giggles. Cute!!!!!! I gotta listen again!

Well Rose imagine him dating an Indian girl and calling her name like that? Hot! Damn now I want to hear him say my name. Every name he mentions sounds like heaven. Michelle and Donna from CB. The way he says Evie in DL. Eeeeeeeevieeeeeeee so drawn out. And then the way he says Hermione all low and husky. You notice he gives his characters different voices. We go on about how great he is with his facial expressions but the same thing applies to that mans vocal chords. There are so many levels, deep, high, low, soft….

The cut scene with the choir should have been left in, it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Gorgeous.

I agree with what everyone says about the deleted scene. They should have left it in as it was. They did leave parts of it in, but cut some of it, i.e. most of Snape and the part with Ron and Hermione looking out of the window (a scene we already knew from pics and were wondering when it didn’t show up in the movie). I think the scene uncut is much more poignant.
And I also agree about Rupert’s voice and accent. I could listen to him all day.
This man is just hot in every part of his body, including his vocal chords.
