More News About Rupert Grint At Southport!
While the news of our Cherrybomb Campaign are spreading, we now have further information concerning Rupert Grint’s time at Southport! As we reported last week, Rupert spent some time at the Hillside Golf Course in Southport. Clickliverpool.com have some interesting quotes about Rupert: Rupert looked like he was taking it reallys seriously and he had all the gear. But there was a westerly wind gusting up to 30mph. It was sending Rupert’s tee shots off the fairways and he kept finding himself deep in the rough. He got really frustrated and had a few wild swings at the ball, but in the end he managed to see the funny side. Once he relaxed he pulled-off some great shots and he even birdied the 18th. He was delighted with his performance on the final hole and signed autographs for everyone at the club-house. Continue reading
Rupert Grint Delighted By Fan Campaign! Cherrybomb Finds Distributor?
The Independent quotes Rupert Grint in saying how delighted he is about the fan campaign for Cherrybomb and that he backs it wholeheartedly! “I’m delighted by the huge support the film has already received on the official Facebook page and other sites on the web and am so grateful to my fans in particular, who have travelled the world to support the film at festivals and preview screenings.” In even bigger, exciting news, The Independent states the campaign has helped secure a distribution deal in Britain and details will be announced next week. We will be looking more into this to let you know all the details! Robbie Little, of The Little Film Company, has also been quoted as saying that the campaign has definitely helped. And Lisa Barros D’Sa, the co-director, has been quoted as saying how blown away they are by the support from the minute Rupert was cast in the film! And even cooler? Ice Cream Man is mentioned as having put together the campaign!

Rupert Grint: US Cherrybomb Petition Hits 5,000 Signatures!
We are real excited to announce that the US petition for Rupert Grint’s movie “Cherrybomb” has reached 5,000 signatures! This has taken us about 5 months to accumulate without much help from major websites. We average about 1,000 signatures a month! Lately our petition efforts have made it into the mainstream which has really helped push over the edge! We’re extremely excited and can’t wait to see how many more signatures we can get and how far we can raise the other countries. Remember we have the UK (which is reaching about 1500 signatures), Brazil (which is nearing 3,000 signatures), Germany (which is nearing 500 signatures), Italy and France (both of which are nearing 400 signatures), and Australia and Asia (which are both nearing 200 signatures). Rupert Grint Enjoys A Day Of Golfing In Southport!
Rupert Grint has been enjoying one of his favorite pastimes in lovely Southport, Great Britain: Golfing. According to Southport GB Rupert has been staying at Southport’s Vincent Hotel, a resort, where he has been cruising the local golf courses to hone his skills. As we all know, Rupert is currently filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It’s good to see him taking a break and kicking back a little with a game or two of golf!
