October 20th, 2009, 3:58 PM–It has been announced on  RallyGb.Org that Rupert Grint is scheduled to attend the Rally of Great Britain and will be dropping by the Rally GB Service Park this Sunday October 25th! The headline reads “Harry Potter star and top British pilots to descend upon Cardiff this weekend!

Excerpt:

Rupert, 21, is a huge fan of rallying and will no doubt be hoping to catch the crowning of the World Rally Champion at the ceremonial finish in the afternoon. Fans and media who want to catch a glimpse of the star should make sure they are in the manufacturer’s area of the Service Park, in Cardiff Bay at 2.15pm.

We are happy that Rupert’s been enjoying himself on his free time and we all look forward to catching some glimpses of him at the event as well as some nice new photos? ;) We’ll be ready to bring you the news this weekend!

    Actually, thank you Tao. Since I posted this in the staff forum hours ago trying to get confirmation of his appearance. Yes, the article says yes, but the tweet from the place says ‘may’. lol

    I hope this airs on tv because I plan on watching it. It blocked out last weekends rally race. I was highly upset. I missed NASCAR and needed to see some racing.

    hah, this seems slightly stalkerish. Imagine, a horde of people showing up right then…

    Damn I wish I were close to Cardiff! Yeah that did make it easy for the crazies huh? But since they all know maybe we’ll get some nice photos of our boy. :)
