October 20th, 2009, 6:19pm–Recently we informed you that Rupert Grint’s film Cherrybomb is scheduled to be screened at the American Film Market which will take place from November 4th-11th in Santa Monica CA. We can now reveal that this screening will be open to the public with free admission to anybody who can attend. The film is set for showtime Wednesday, Nov. 4th – 9:00 AM – AMC Loews Broadway #4.  All we need is your email address for verification purposes when you arrive and you’re in. There are plenty of seats available so if you can make it please bring your co-workers, friends and family! If you are local we need your help on getting the word out about this event to help make it successful. Email us at staff@rupert-grint.us for details and if you want to attend. “The Little Film Company” will also be advertising this on the official Cherrybomb face-book! We hope to see you there!

Update: Sorry for any confusion.  YES the screening is open to anybody to attend,  but it’s not like you can walk up to the booth and order a ticket yourself.  You will have to email us to be placed on the list to attend because this is for marketing purposes like the London screening was.

  1. HASSAN says:

    OMG— FREE ADMISSION….

  2. Laura says:

    WHY AM I NOT AMERICAN?!!!!!!!

  3. Jo says:

LOL Laura. Or from California. ;)

  4. Linda says:

They never have things like this where I am from. I’m too far from either coast to even count!!

  5. Laura says:

Same here Linda. I mean i have to wait till the effen dvd……I’ve been pumped up for this film ever sinc eit got anounced on July second 2008. I was so excited I barely slept the following night. I’ve had vivid dreams about this damn thing. I look frantically for news about CB and for that other that does/doesn’t excist *lol*. I’ve had soaring headaches because I fret about CB not getting distribution. I’ve been so emotionally invested in this whole damn thing and I’m not getting it here in my country anyway (didn’t get DL either). Heck I’ll be lucky to get it on rent.

Can’t they have like a cozy little screening here? Like in Antwerp perhaps….*iz desperate* *lol*

    *works on her CB vid*

  6. suzeeq says:

I am from California. So why am I living in the south? Oh yeah, work. lol

  7. Tao says:

I wish I could afford to go again. :P

  8. HASSAN says:

Hey Laura … I’m just as worried like you … headaches, stress, tears in my eyes … CB is part of our lives …

  9. Tyriane says:

sucks to be in Georgia right now…

  10. AJ says:

I’ve seen it, but darn it I want it to come to the east coast, it NEVER comes here.
AND…… I want it out, cause I want to discuss the movie. I like talking movies
and I want EVERYONE to see it, so we can have deep discussions on characters,
    motivations and stuff…

As far as that other “Assummed Rupert Grint project” MAN, we’ve not seen a PIC
    since SEPTEMBER 2008…….200-freakin’-8!!!! Guh…..Grrrrrr!!!!

  11. Linda says:

DL was shown in a couple of theaters about 100 miles from my home( well, maybe 50). Having small children, I couldn’t see it until I bought it on DVD. So, I’m sure I’ll have to bide my time until CB comes out on DVD too. Living in a small town really sucks sometimes!!

  12. Linda says:

He’s worth the wait though!!! ;)

  13. Tao says:

LOL I traveled two hours to see DL. I traveled half way across the country to see CB. At this stage in my life, I’m glad I don’t have to worry about children… but he is definitely worth the wait. :D And so is the movie!

  14. Jo says:

Oh yeah if I have the money I’ll go anywhere to see him. I think we already established half of us are off our rockers, but it’s all good. :) We love us some Rupes. :)

  15. Sarin says:

    I’m going. Screw school. lol!

  16. Bilius says:

Why California AGAIN? Do they realize how many people on the east coast have ties with Eire?? Apparently not. idiots.

  17. Tao says:

Bilius, it’s not something they planned. The AFM always happens in CA. I’m sure if it happened in NYC, they wouldn’t just play it in CA. lol It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is…

  18. Bilius says:

    yeah, idiotic.

  19. kangre says:

    hi,how are you?

  20. Tao says:

It’s not. Where do you think most american distribution companies are located? Very rare they are in NYC. I know you hate it. I hate it too. I’d do anything for it to be on the East coast right now… but unfortunately everything’s on the west coast.

    Kangre, Hi! Welcome. :)
