More News About Rupert Grint At Southport!

October 5, 2009, 2:46 pm– While the news of our Cherrybomb Campaign are spreading, we now have further information concerning Rupert Grint’s time at Southport!
As we reported last week, Rupert spent some time at the Hillside Golf Course in Southport.
Clickliverpool.com have some interesting quotes about Rupert:
Rupert looked like he was taking it reallys seriously and he had all the gear.
But there was a westerly wind gusting up to 30mph. It was sending Rupert’s tee shots off the fairways and he kept finding himself deep in the rough.
He got really frustrated and had a few wild swings at the ball, but in the end he managed to see the funny side.
Once he relaxed he pulled-off some great shots and he even birdied the 18th.
He was delighted with his performance on the final hole and signed autographs for everyone at the club-house.
Rupert was telling anyone who would listen about his amazing shot at the 18th. He was very pleased with himself.
If you have missed the pictures from Southport, you can find them here in our Gallery!
And don’t forget to keep spreading the Cherrybomb Buzz!!!
UPDATE: We know many of you are waiting for official news about Cherrybomb and we can tell you that we have to wait for the UK for official news to be released so TLFC can not say anything at this time. This also includes the U.S. negotiation. We have to wait for the distributor to release the news officially and once that happens we’ll be sure to post it here immediately!

Bless his heart and his game of golf. Oh Rupes I’ll sit and listen to your 18th shot all damn day darling.
October 5th, 2009
That is seriously the cutest thing EVER. LOL How can anyone not just adore him?
October 5th, 2009

Sooo… there IS something that makes him at least a little bit mad?
How cute!
October 5th, 2009
Wow! He has a 12 handicap. Poor Rupes, but of course that wind would play havoc. He should try to play in my neck of the woods. Winds are as mighty and as constant as Chicago. Glad he ended happy. Wonders if he had any foot stomping action?
October 5th, 2009
Don’t mess with men and sports. Rupert proved no matter how sweet you are if your golf game is interrupted you’ll have a little silent fit. That was big coming from him lol.
October 5th, 2009
haha I love how you guys are all about him getting mad which is cute as hell, but I love that he got all excited about his last shot and kept telling everyone about. LOL! Cuteness to the end.
Thanks for that Silvia! Is there any way we can get them to post a link to the Italian petition?? That is in need of signatures.
October 5th, 2009
As cute as it is…. it doesn’t really sound like him does it? Well, what do I know, right? :b
October 5th, 2009
Coming from a family chock full of male golfers, believe me when I say…they get PISSED! Go Rupes!
October 5th, 2009
Sorry Tao, I don’t think it’s going to work, they actually copy news from other websites and from tv,so it seems unlikely-I just posted them because it’s the first time that Cherrybomb is mentioned in Italy, and since I’ve been waiting for that for more then a year,I was kind of happy.
October 5th, 2009
Silvia nothing is impossible. If we said that we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Vanessa he was possessed by the Golf Gods. No control. I think he was all alone in his element and I love that.
October 5th, 2009
I just e_mailed one of the websites with the link to the petition…let’s hope it works-and Jo,you’re right, but I tried to contact the two most important Italian movie magazines and got nothing,so I don’t want to get my hopes too up.
October 5th, 2009
Silvia can you email us the Italian ones you know of please? We will make this work. staff@rupert-grint.us

Can’t access my e_mail right now,so I’ll post the link to Best Movie, the only magazine which actually published the first picture of Rupert in Cherrybomb back in 2008. I tried to get them through the “Contattaci” section, but nothing. I hope you’re luckier…http://www.bestmovie.it/acm-on-line/Home.html

I remember someone saying once Rupert got going he could talk your ear off, so I don’t doubt him blathering about the birdie. I’m sure people saw him out there asking how things were and him saying, “kinda rough, but I had this wicked 18th hole!”
October 5th, 2009
aw this is cute
I’d love to see him mad (sexy) and happy in the end talking about his shot at the 18th (cute). he may a calm and relaxed guy but everybody gets annoyed once in awhile so it’s not exactly out of character…it’s only human…I know nothing about golf but I could listen to him talk about it for the rest of my life lol
October 5th, 2009
lol! this man is too adorable.
(i love how we’re finding his little tantrum endearing. talk about love
)

Haha! Enock, you rock! I love how all three pictures have different expressions that definitely give you different emotions.
October 5th, 2009
You’re so right, Yali… But it doesn’t matter to me if it’s love that’s making me feel so touched by his little fit and how happy he was about the birdie. If it’s love, it’s all the better
I mean, I don’t even know what a birdie is, I’d still be more than willing to be there to listen to him telling me all about it. If he wanted I’d see him do a replay for me.
If he wanted he could — wait, I do have to censor myself here, right? haha.
I’d love to see his face alight with happiness because, at the end, his game rocked. Oh, yeah.
October 5th, 2009
Well how censored are we talking??? He-he…….. Enock you’re a doll. Those photos are fabulous.
October 5th, 2009
We were talking a lot of censoring. It implied the 18th hole and roleplaying……………….
*shocked*
Wait, what?
October 5th, 2009
“Vanessa he was possessed by the Golf Gods”
Yeah. I understand the getting pissed part (believe me, I’ve cursed out many a golf ball) it’s just the bragging part that seems out of sorts. *shrugs*
October 5th, 2009
That is adorable as hell! I can see Rupert talking your ear off on his last hole, lol!
October 5th, 2009
Well maybe he was talking about it and good old journalism turned it into bragging. I can see him more so just gushing about it. How cute would that be to see? I hope Rupert never reads my comments lol.
October 5th, 2009
Cute cute cute,Rupert + Golf = Love!
I hope we more of that!
Thank you Enock,oclumencia rocks! \o/
October 5th, 2009
I’d love to hear that story!
Thank you so much, Enock!
October 5th, 2009
He “had a few wild swings at the ball”-LOL- I know exactly how the poor guy feels. Men and any game that has to do with balls! (that sounded so naughty!)
October 6th, 2009
How did I miss this? lol
Jeremy Brock, Writer & Director of Driving Lessons, is working on the script for the Prince Harry film.
October 6th, 2009
I smell journalistic exaggeration (rolls eyes). Frustration over a bad shot is different than having a tantrum/getting angry.
Aloemilk, a birdie means he shot one under the “par” for that 18th hole. “Par” is typical of what a pro would shoot. Birdie = one under par, Eagle = 2 under, Bogey = 1 over par, double Bogey = 2 over. And here ends the lesson
October 6th, 2009
Thanks, Bilius!
I’m still confused (I’m really new into Golf, and just as a expectator), but now I have an idea of how great it was for him to do a birdie!
