October 2, 2009, 2:04 pm– Rupert Grint has been enjoying one of his favorite pastimes in lovely Southport, Great Britain: Golfing. According to Southport.gb.com Rupert has been staying at Southport’s Vincent Hotel, a resort, where he has been cruising the local golf courses to hone his skills. As we all know, Rupert is currently filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It’s good to see him taking a break and kicking back a little with a game or two of golf!

OMG… I bless the day he bought that leather jacket!! And yeah, he looks bulkier, but I think it’s the several layers of clothing he’s wearing. =D Mmmmh… I would peel than onion layer by layer gladly!! XD The combination of all the clothes and accessories makes him look like a model!! =D And that buzz makes him look so manly… He should never be clean-shaven again!!

Did you watch Fernando Meireles clips for the presentation today? I want so much that Rupert could work with him someday! He’s an amazing director and even Dan said one tim he loved some of his movies.

I loved to see him again, whish we could have a new photo every day. Well, I’m not complaining because we had a lot lately.
Good to see he’s taking his free time to do somethings he loves, but I still have hopes he could find half an our , before he comes back to film, to send a message to his fans.
It wouldn’t take more than this and it would be so nice of him.

Sorry guys, but the sunglasses are actually BAD when golfing — distorts depth perception. I love the follow-through shot! Nice straight back, good pivot, uh huh. I have lovely little captions running around in my head for all these nice duffer photos.

Holy C***, that place is big! I wonder what he’s planning to do with all those properties? Live in one, obviously, but what about the others? For relatives, perhaps? I’m certain his accountant advised him to do this.
I don’t know if real estate in Britain took the beating it took here in the US, but it was probably a smart move to get something that size at what has to be at a lower price than it would have been a couple of years ago. If he hangs on to it for a few years until the market improves, he can make a killing and then invest the profit from the sale. If he’s smart about it he’ll never have to worry about taking a role for the money.
I’d rather have him spending his money on real estate than stupid stuff.

I really don’t understand the “has he bulked up?” discussion. Maybe it’s my bad eyesight, but I don’t think he’s thick or has gained weight. He wears several layers of clothing. It has been a bit chilly these last days in most of middle and nothern Europe.
And can you imagine? I haven’t even noticed the sunglasses although I have been going on for some time now that I finally want to see him wear them?
I was too preoccupied with his golf outfit. LoL. He looks great. Typically golf outfit but still with his very unique personal touch to it.
And the pic when he swings the golf club… I asked myself if his golf idol Tiger Woods would approve of the technique. I’m sure he would. Looks pretty perfect to me.

Yes Mia, it does look like he shot into the ‘rough’ — BUT, I think he’s actually on a cart path, not looking for a ball (Notice he has his full bag with him. He’d leave that on the fairway if he was in the rough looking for a shag ball). Rupert : “That shot will be a Mulligan!”
BTW- I think the cap is just to keep his long hair out of his eyes.

Grint And Pattinson Up For Royal Role
Rupert Grint and Robert Pattinson have both been tipped to play Prince Harry in a movie about the British monarch’s life.
Director Peter Kosminsky is set to begin casting for biopic The Spare, which will depict the royal’s experience losing his mother Princess Diana and serving for the Army in Afghanistan.
The filmmaker is said to be considering British actors Grint and Pattinson for the lead, as well as Pride and Prejudice star Rupert Friend, according to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper.
Kosminsky explains, “I feel a sense of compassion for the guy (Prince Harry). His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over.
“He’s a man born to no role. His brother’s the heir and Harry’s the spare.”
The White Oleander filmmaker is refusing to rule out recruiting an American star, adding: “My personal approach as a director is that I read the script and people start to pop into my head.”

Yeah, Rupert is wearing three layers of shirts. Spandex, then a black polo shirt, and then another one, the stripped one. But he still looks like his shoulders have gotten bigger. But that seems to be Rupert… one minute he looks like this, the next he seems less stocky. The amazing fluctuating body weight. LOL
