August 25, 2009, 3:18 PM–In a new interview with BBC Newsbeat Rupert Grint talks about how he is ready to move on from the Harry Potter series but at the same time he is still going to be quite sad when filming finally ends. Although a majority of quotes sound familiar, you might find it endearing what he had to say about The Kiss:
“It was fine. We just really believed we were Ron and Hermione and not Rupert and Emma and it was OK. It was only a few takes, so it didn’t last long.”
About his cast mates he told Newsbeat:
“We get on great. It’s been quite a long few years and we’ve kind of grown up with each other and gone through a lot. We’re close. It’s good.
“Emma’s going to university and she’ll be busy and stuff but hopefully we’ll all stay in touch. We all get on.”
