August 3rd, 2009, 2:41pm–During promotion for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Rupert Grint along with his co-star Daniel Radcliffe were both interviewed by Amanda Fennelly with movie blog site The Slate. Amanda describes Rupert unassuming and slightly shy. She also notes that he seemed a bit less animated and somewhat more tired than the others but was still happy to talk about his kissing scene, filming Quidditch, and his now famous ice-cream truck. he really looks very tired
I connected to that radio interview earlier and I love hearing his voice. A bit gravely. (rocky) Awwww, him and being little. I’m so glad to hear something new about him.
Judging by the shirt he’s wearing, the interview must have taken place on 6th July, i.e. when they were doing the press conference and junket interviews. No wonder they were tired. Plus at that point Rupert had only just recovered from illness, it’s likely that he still had a bit of a sore throat or something.
Sorry for double commenting but I meant to say I love when he says, “Jess.” He’s never awkward acting when it comes to her.
Btw is it just me or Amanda looks like Tao’s long lost twin sister?

Im very sorry but i heard the interview and one moment they’re talkin about love potion which person he would love to give te potion to?? i heard the queen (funny yhh rupert lol) but the interviewer said sumfin like: and the girl you just saw or sumfin like that if someone can tell me it would be very nice

It’s bad enough sometimes to be a foreign. I just can get too much types of variations in the accents, but I can feel that I can’t do any of them well.
I love what Evanna said about Rupert.
And that was definately some irishness at some point in Rupert’s voice.
I would like to think Rupert has overheard our conversations in the forum about how he must speak Irish it least three days a week. AJ would be proud.
You can especially hear it in his “had” when he says “It was just like any other flu I had…” SEXAY.
his voice is so soothing. the entire cherrybomb movie you are in a trance because of that voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
