New Interviews With And About Rupert Grint And The Kiss
Promotion for Rupert Grint’s new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince continues, and we have a collection of interviews: First, Rupert Grint, now a “veteran actor” (!), talks to NY Daily News about the Harry Potter cast not going crazy: “They’re waiting for you to become the stereotypical child actor and go off the wheels a bit,” says “Potter” veteran Rupert Grint, 20. “But I’m not planning on it. We’re too busy to go too crazy, anyway, because we’re filming most of the year.” You can read the rest of their report here. In the midst of all the excitement about Rupert Grint’s film Ron Weasley and the Half-Blood Prince, we would like to celebrate this very special day with all of you, whether you’re new here, a regular, or a stalker! Exactly five years ago, our lovely webmistress Tao started this very website, which has grown and developed into what it is today! Therefore a toast to Tao, and of course to Tao’s mum! Rupert Grint Quizzed, Jessie Cave Awestruck, The Twins Teased!
In case you have missed some segments of yesterday’s BBC Radio 1 Harry Potter day, you can now revisit their exclusive coverage here: they have uploaded lots of videos, images, and other goodies. For those of you who can’t watch the videos, we have added two to our Youtube channel: in the first one, Rupert Grint is quizzed by Scott Mills: first he is asked to name as many famous Harrys as he can think of, and then to retell the entire Harry Potter saga in a few sentences! In the second video, Jessie Cave takes Edith Bowman and James King on a set tour and talks about being in awe with Rupert when she first met him! In a new interview, James Phelps and Oliver Phelps talk briefly about Rupert and about challenges of being a redhead: they say that Harry Potter hasn’t made it any easier for redheads, and that they still ridicule Rupert Grint for his hair. Now that “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince” is finally playing in the cinemas worldwide (and breaking records in terms of ticket sales, sold out screenings etc.) maybe the news will slow down a bit! In the past 15 days we made 53 news posts, almost 200 updates, over 100 reviews have been added to our RR section, not to mention countless photos, videos etc. Our staff brought you some exclusive footage from the London and New York premieres, and in the midst of the HP frenzy we helped organise a private screening of Cherrybomb and continued to work on its distribution campaign. Rupert Grint On BBC Radio1 Harry Potter Special And Other Shows!
Rupert Grint was among the actors who were interviewed today by Edith Bowman, as a part of BBC Radio 1′s Harry Potter special! Edith and her sidekick James also talked to Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, Jason Isaacs and others. Edith called Rupert a “comedic genius”, and praised his performance in “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince”. As for the interview, it’s very funny and revealing — Rupert talks about nicknames he’s been given after coming down swine flu, about his giggling fits, and many other things. After the interview, Edith and James also talked how nice and friendly Rupert was, so I’ve attached that segment to the audio clip as well.
