Rupert Grint Talks Sport And Is Featured In HMV Campaign

July 19, 2009, 11:10 AM–While Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is breaking records worldwide, another interview with Rupert Grint has appeared online! Brasilian website Omelette interviewed Rupert during the recent promotion and asked some interesting questions about sports. You can watch the video on their website here (Quicktime download) or on youtube here!
If you can recall, weeks ago, we reported that Rupert Grint along with his Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince co-stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe would be taking part of a promotional campaign for the UK music retailer HMV. In their campaign My Inspiration, various artists provide quotes from their favorite movies and songs. Rupert offered a quote from one of his favorite movies “Eraserhead” which says
“So I just uh… cut them up like regular chickens?”
If you’ve seen Eraserhead or that scene from the movie, words can not describe! The image, courtesy of WatsonDaily, can be found in our gallery here!
Thanks, Laura!

LOL It amuses me that Dan’s got this quote that sort of makes you think, Emma has something simple but profound (I mean, in what it means), and here is Rupert with something off the wall and eccentric.

Gotta love Rupes for that!

Yeah Tao.. the quotes really represent them, no?

I need Rupert to explain this movie to em while I watch it, ’cause i tried and I was just like “Whaa??”. It’s just such a cool side of him, he’s a genious I’m telling you

I’m just about to leave for San Francisco, but I had to get my last for sure dose of Rupert news. I love that young man! I asked hubby if he knew the quote, and he knew instantly. He’s an Eraserhead fanatic.
WickedJo, it’s one weird surreal movie isn’t it? I agree, you need someone who understands it next to you. Hubby justs laughs and laughs at it and I’m like, uh? But it is unique like Rupert.

Could someone possible explain that scene, because I am very curious. LOL. I need to watch the movie Earserhead now.

GAH!!!! We’re soulmates! We need to sit down and watch 70′s scifi together.

Eraserhead is definitely odd. LOL I was very much in the dark as well… maybe it’s a guy thing?

“maybe it’s a guy thing?”
YEA! I was introduced to “La Planète Sauvage” by a dude, which I love, but guys are an odd sort. Gotta love em!

Those are really nice pictures of all of them. I saw Eraserhead recently, in honor of Rupert. Didn’t get it either, but I like seeing things Rupert has seen. I liked that Omelette interview, too.

That Eraserhead scene was weird. I ended up stopping it.
1:42 – 1:44 of that video. lol. cuteness.
