July 17, 2009, 4:29 PM–Promotion for Rupert Grint’s new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince continues, and we have a collection of interviews:
First, Rupert Grint, now a veteran (!), talks to NY Daily News about the Harry Potter cast not going crazy:

“They’re waiting for you to become the stereotypical child actor and go off the wheels a bit,” says “Potter” veteran Rupert Grint, 20. “But I’m not planning on it. We’re too busy to go too crazy, anyway, because we’re filming most of the year.”

In an interview with Now Magazine, Tom Felton mentions Rupert Grint and co-star Daniel Radcliffe:

‘When you speak to Rupert [Grint], he’s just like Ron – he’s a nice, funny guy. And Dan [Radcliffe] is just like Harry – a friendly geek!’

And finally, Emma Watson revealed a lot about filming the kissing scene for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows during an interview on Oprah.com:

Emma: It was, it was…ugh, it was hard. It was really hard. We were both in the same boat, though. We both were really struggling with the idea of having to kiss each other, because our relationship is so platonic. He’s like my brother, but we did it and we were happy.
KF: Did you have a little pep talk beforehand?
Emma: Yeah, we talked about it before. It was nice that we were in the same boat, as I said before. We both were just like, “Oh god, this is horrible.”
KF: Did you all have mints or gum on hand?
EW: We both agreed that we would clean our teeth, but that was it.

    Now, she’s putting “the word” in his mouth, too?
    I just wish that they could stop to talk about this kiss.
    I can’t hear anymore just watch it, because it’s changing all my mood about my favorite moment of all the book.
    I can’t get anymore all this talk about “kiss a brother” related to one of the most handsome actor of the world! One that milions of girls want to kiss.
    I really wish that Emma’s next movie would be the “Napoleon” thing so the next actor she could kiss would be Al Pacino, but I bet she’d love, because he’s so much old than her…

    About Tom words for Rupert and Dan, we already know this about our boy, that’s why we’re here and Dan gave us a great proof of how awesome he is when he taled with ICM ;)

    happy birthday, ICM!!!! I love all this positive feedback on Rupert, it’s like dream come true!! Catnip, indeed! But I think a lot of us already knew and have been cavorting through the catnip for years. ;)

    Lilly, I adore your painting of Rupert as an ice cream man. You’re so sweet, you make me smile.

    I’m going to see HBP again tonight, for the second time this week. LOL rupert as ron, is just…….comedic, catnip, buff perfection. Hopefully I’ll get into the forums this weekend to fangirl with the rest of you. I’ve got so much to say!!!!

    LoL,did you know? The Burrow scene was actually written by the author but pulled from the book before publishing.

    Lilly – Don’t be so hard on Emma. She doesn’t like Rupert like that, period. Who cares? He says he feels the same. She admits that he is good looking but feels nothing more then sisterly love for him. Why is it such a big deal? I think its better for them to both be awkward about it then one of them having feelings for the other while the others just thinking ” well this is awkward. I hate this.”. Give Emma a break. Rupert’s said the same thing so chew him out too.

    But I am really tired of them asking about the kiss . Cant that wait until move 7 part 2? Honestly. They will have nothing to ask them come two years from now. They barely ever ask Dan and Bonnie about the kiss. Strange.
