Who cares!

Read a great new romantic comedy following the fortunes of Paul Marriott, the Secretary of the Barnstorm Village Sunday soccer team, and coach of a school cricket team in Yorkshire, England. The story describes the remarkable camaraderie between the players and supporters of this little club and their desire to achieve success. Nonetheless, the team is known more for its antics off the field, rather than their performances on it.

During his time at the club he meets and becomes involved with Emma Potter, who is the sister of James Potter, a major player for their bitter rivals Moortown Inn. Thus, begins an entangled web of romance and conflict. He also begins working at Derry High School, a school with a poor reputation of academic success, where he becomes coach of the school cricket team. Here he develops an amazing relationship with the children and embarks on an epic journey.

Depends on how you interpret the article. If they mean Ron the unlikely stud okay I can understand, but some of these articles are referring to Rupert which annoys me. I still have that “gingers aren’t attractive” in the back of my mind. So that is what it makes me think about.

I kind of like the “kind of” Ivana.

Someone needs to count how many times Rupert said “kind of” in this interview! Lol it’s so cute, reminds me of my hubby, he uses lots of filler words he’s anxious (but his fave filler word is “actually”). The other day he was talking on the phone to someone at work, about some important feature that needed to be implemented, and I counted — he said “actually” 62 times in less than five minutes.

Well, I’ve always loved everything about Rupert’s portrayal of Ron in the movies, from the moments he’s courageous, loyal, and protective to the moments when he’s awkward, funny, and yes, even bumbling.

And I don’t have any problem with people referring to him as an unlikely stud because I never got the impression from the books he was supposed to be particularly studly. No one can help it if Rupert turned out to be “adorably sexy.”

But he was never unattractive.:( They just don’t know what they are talking about. Anyway, if anyone can tape The Daily Ten on E! tomorrow morning/afternoon, which is a repeat from tonight, they interviewed the Trio. I only caught a little of it, but they asked if Rupert had a crush on Emma and he said no, but laughed and put his hand in front of his face and Emma talked about the worst pickup lines she’s heard (“Do you wanna ride my broomstick?”), while Dan said something about getting a gift from a fan where when he thought about…ahem…touching himself…he should hit himself in the head with it. Anyway, it’s worth someone getting and putting up.

I don’t think the ‘unlikely stud’ thing is insulting. Unfortunately Rupert was always thought to be the unattractive one of the group. Don’t we all have the last laugh! Hah!

I’m not thrilled about the unlikely part either, but at least they say convincing. I blame the writing for so many thinking unlikely (did I mention I hate it when they portray Ron as a bumbling idiot? Because I hate it).
