July 10, 2009, 4:05 PM–As announced last month, ABC Family is hosting a Harry Potter marathon this weekend, starting tonight. ABC Family will also be airing exclusive featurettes, with never-before-seen footage and cast interviews, from the new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince throughout the weekend’s 3-day event. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Tom Felton take viewers deeper into the world of the Half-Blood Prince by discussing what Malfoy is really up to in the film, Ron’s new sports adventure and how Hermione is dealing with Ron’s new main squeeze. UPDATE 5: Thanks to BlogHogwarts we can now see this video of the trio. This clip is screening in a Mexican movie theatre chain called Cinepolis before the movie trailers. We can see Rupert talking in a very fluent Spanish! Hey Rupert you are so good with that accent and that comes from me an authentic Mexican! Enjoy!

Hey all, I haven’t been around in a while but am back for the HBP release! Anyway, I was checking out Rotten Tomatoes to see if they had any HBP reviews yet, and there’s one from Time Out that I think you’ll love – they said that Rupert gives the best performance in the movie! Here’s the money quote:
” Rupert Grint’s Ron is still the leavening star – striking funny, victorious poses in the series’s last game of Quidditch – but Daniel Radcliffe’s less self-conscious and more self-deprecating Harry runs him a close second.”

Ah, sorry! Like I said, I’ve just resurfaced, and since there’s been so much that’s been happening in the past few days, I was bound to miss something.
Most of the reviews that mention Rupert are very positive about his performance, but that doesn’t surprise me as we know how great he is!

Oh, I loved how he said that. He is still a bit coughing, but I think that could also be because he had to do so much talking these last days. Seems he is really really fine again after the flue.

Radcliffe: I have to say that this in terms of the comedy is Rupert’s finest hour. He’s absolutely brilliant in the movie and kind of reveals himself to be a fantastic application of physical comedy. You balance the dramatic stuff as well, obviously, but the scene on the broomstick in quidditch is something like out of Buster Keaton or something. It’s absolutely brilliant. It was wonderful.

about the cinepolis video, again Dan and Rupert seem very excited and happy and Emma just looks bored to death…Rupert’s accent is perfect, no wonder he go to do that last part
