July 7, 2009, 7:50 PM– Red carpet interviews featuring Rupert Grint are starting to emerge from today’s London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Most of the press so far seems to focus on the fact that while it rained pretty much the whole time it did not seem to deter any of the stars or the thousands of fans in attendance. In an interview with AFP, Rupert had this to say about the weather:
“I think it’s really cool. I love the thunder and stuff. It’s quite exciting.”

On the acting front, the aforementioned Radcliffe, Grint and Watson do their best work yet, a world away from the awkward stage-school stylings of their early performances. Watson is turning into quite the leading lady while Grint is now far more than just light comic relief, the pain palpable as he watches Hermione flirt with another.

I love how Rupert loves the rain. However, I think he should be more careful not to get sick again so soon. I hope they took proper care of him after the premiere. It can’t be healthy for him to be wet for long.
