July 7, 2009 at 5:10 AM– Rupert Grint was interviewed on GMTV this morning alongside his costar Emma Watson with the focus of the interview being their on-screen romance. They talk about Ron and Hermione’s relationship in both Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, as well as the still in production Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This marks the first time the two have talked about The Kiss together and they make it clear that while it was uncomfortable and they had a serious laughter problem, The Kiss came out great in the end. The interviewer also asks them about the end of the series, filming Quidditch, bum casts, fame, money, and continuing to act after the series. There is also a new clip from the new movie of Ron before the Quidditch match included in the video. You can view the video on our Youtube page here.

UPDATE: The videos just keep pouring in! BBC has video from yesterday’s press conference in which they ask Rupert what it was like to be fought over by his female costars. There is also a promo online for the upcoming ITV1 special which can be viewed here.

I feel better now that they’ve been interviewed together. Makes them seem on an even keel. They both understand each other and everything’s fine. The final product will be amazing and that’s what matters.

Makes me feel a bit better about the JR interview too, although Emma again had to use the word “horrible”.
