July 05, 2009, 9:58am–Rupert Grint and co-star Daniel Radcliffe taped an interview with Australian show Rove Live last week to promote Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and it has aired today! Thanks to Suzeeq for letting us know that Nessie from the R/E Forums has captured it and has released it on YouTube! You can view the video here! I know one thing David [Yates] is very proud of is getting Quidditch right. I do think it’s the first time that it feels like a sport. And it’s comic, which is fun. Rupert Grint (who plays Ron) is great. We also do a lot with the kids coming of age, navigating sexual politics and all that.

It’s one thing to joke redheads (I still don’t get it, but then again, in my world,people brag about the slightest tinge of red in their hair), but Rupert’s hair is HOT for any hair color. The flow is right….

wasn’t this interview posted before? I’m pretty sure it has because I remember reading and having a good laugh at his comment about bein “upset if characters are being violated”. (apart from the Rupert comment)
The wand thing was toooo funny. LoL. And Rupert is the sweetest guy ever. He answered the questions so genuinely seriously. I couldn’t understand very good, I think the tone was a but bad, but did Rupert say he rather meet a Death Eater than a spider?? LMAO gotta love that man.
And I did see some mustache there. Yay for scruff!!!!
LOL I liked when he said he just wants to know what happens next with that “drill to the head” pic. And, bless him for saying he would still cry if he encountered a deadly spider. Poor thing, but I guess that would be true for anyone.
And I’m going to ignore the anti-Ginger statement from Rove about getting a lot of action in HBP for a Ginger. *grumbles*

So, really… doesn’t this stir up the debate again about Rupert’s height? Rove claims to be 5’8″ and Rupert is taller than him. lol Even without his Ron shoes, he’d still be taller!
