July 04, 2009, 2:09pm–You may have noticed that many news outlets have been posting news about Rupert Grint having a mild case of Swine Flu. We at ICM can confirm from Rupert’s publicist that this has indeed happened and he is fine and has recovered! According to this BBC article, this has happened during the filming of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Rupert had to take a few days off. However he will still be attending the London and New York premieres of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that he is scheduled for!
We have also decided to send “glad you feel better” wishes to Rupert. So please post in the comments your well wishes to him and we will send them along for him to read!
Also, Happy 4th of July to all Americans!
In what is sure to be many to come, a great review has been published for Half-Blood Prince that specifically mentions Rupert! “Bizarrely, this leaves sun-avoider Rupert Grint as the highlight of the three leads, soaking up the frequent comic relief scenes with surprising ease, his Ron being less gormless and more charming than expected.” You can read the entire thing here and we will be updating our Rave Reviews subsite regularly!
