I dunno Jo, I can’t really see it this way.
If he wanted to open up, he could have done it in a way that has a bit more integrity, he could have said “I used to have a crush on her in the earlier days, but now she’s like a sister” or, “I’m starting to see her in different light, she’s a pretty girl”, or whatever that wouldn’t make him sound like he is liying in either this interview or in the other ones, it doesn’t make sense to say just a little time ago that he’s dreading kissing her coz she’s like a sister, and then suddenly now he’s not dreading kissing her coz she’s pretty! Which should the normal reader -who would read all those interviews in almost the same period- believe?
Honestly I don’t think Rupert said it in this inconsistent way, like he maybe said he had a crush on her during a certain era, and the interviewer took it out of context and phrased it this strange and un-rupert-ly way to spice things up a bit…

Cinderella Rupert has made a conscious decision to come out of his bubble and show the media who he is because it’s something he has to do to have staying power in the business he’s in. He’s not selling out, he’s just telling more about himself and it’s about time!

I dunno, this interview seems sooo off to me…
I mean, why would he say something that’s the complete opposite of what he always says, making himself in the process look like some sort of a lier?
They say this mag wouldn’t make up quotes, but maybe they took things out of context and rephrased them?
I dunno -and don’t care- about his real feelings for Emma, but I don’t like the way they make him look like he’s been laying all that time… *shrugs*
The pics (especially the one with the cig) are gorgeous though, so I’ll try to focus on them.

BTW, don’t you love how manly these past Rupert interviews are?? The media regards him as a man, not as a boy anymore. It’s kind of funny how both the Daily Mail and FHM have pictured him doing grown-up, bad things: drinking and smoking and about to… you know what with a girl XD

I just read the cock-flashing bit about Daniel Radcliffe and think they would have a hard time if they were to interview DR after saying that about him XD

It’s funny how some people don’t like the lightning in the pictures, because I just love it!! I love how the play with light and shadows, he has very set features, just the perfect face to do that

I would never have guessed that he had a crush on Emma in the past :-O I didn’t think he would go for girls like her. But I suppose it was when he was younger, and when you’r 13 you have crushes on half the people you know XD

I love how he’s opening up a bit more in interviews The best thing is that if it’s like this from now on, there are tons and tons of really amazing Rupert interviews to come!!
