June 16, 2009, 06:31 AM– The new edition of Dutch TV magazine „Veronica“ features a set report about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!
As our staffer Michelle already observed in her report about the Harry Potter Exhibition, the set report reveals that:
“Next to the dining room is the room where the Gryffindor boys sleep. In this room you can find the beds of Ron, Harry, Dean, Neville and Seamus. Ron’s is by far the messiest, Seamus’ bed is totally green (Irish) and Harry’s corner is very empty, except for the picture of his mom and dad. The beds were made for the first movie and all the actors except Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) have grown out of them. That’s the reason you hardly ever see them lying in bed anymore, they can only sit on them now.”
The report also shows a picture of Rupert Grint filming a scene for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince where he is walking along the Great Hall in his Quidditch outfit!

And exactly WHY is Ron’s bed the messiest?! What’s he doing in there?

The guy that plays Seamus is shorter than Dan so, that’s puzzling. As for Rupert…the boy can fill out a sweater!
Another question is: Is it Rupert’s doing or that of the set decorators?
True, Devon is shorter than Dan… and Devon’s not THAT much broader.
ahh, i love how their beds stay true o their personailties. & ahh again dan can still lay in his bed. it is weird, but maybe devon hit a growth spurt since we last saw him. or maybe she just mentioned dan & forget devon.
& you would think deans corner would be full with muggle stuff & neville’s with plants.
I can’t believe they’ve grown out of bed and the WB folks didn’t change them XD That’s kind of lame…

I think the pic with Ron in Quidditch sweater in the Great Hall might be shortly before his ‘confrontation’ with McLaggen. Wasn’t there a pic with the two of them standing close and menacingly scowling at each other?
Very true Bonnie. Multi-million dollar franchise and they can’t even buy them new beds! LMAO!
Well, maybe there aren’t scenes anymore where they need to be shown laying down on their beds. Although, it would be funny looking at Rupert’s feet hanging off the end of the bed. And Alfie’s, his KNEES would be hanging off the end of the bed.
Devon is short but he was really really small in the first movie. He’s shortest of them all if you watch the part in SS when Ron complains about Hermione and Seamus still has burned eyebrows. All I can say is awww at the thought of little beds and yum at sweater clad Ron.
