Rupert Grint: Wild Target Promoted at Cannes!
We recently reported that Wild Target starring Rupert Grint, Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt has landed a distribution deal with U.K. exhib chain Vue Entertainment. Now “IOM Today” is reporting that Isle of Man Film representatives have attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote Manx films! Three films will also be promoted to distributors – Heartless, directed by Philip Radley, and Wild Target, a hitman caper starring Bill Nighy and Helena Bonham Carter – which were both filmed last year. The whole of the film production industry is going through a difficult time so it’s important we have a really active presence.’ It’s a very prestigious event and it has been crucial in establishing and maintaining links with film producers and distributors and helped cement our position as a leading independent film financier in the British Isles and therefore Europe,’ he explained. Kimberley Nixon Talks Rupert Grint!

Rupert is great, he is very sweet and we all had fun making the film. The three of us were together a lot and we are all very different so it was exciting and never boring.
And on the related note of Cherrybomb, please do not forget about the Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign! The US is about to crack 1,200 signatures! While the UK has recently hit 500+. Empire Magazine Photo of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint And Emma Watson To Be Auctioned!
As announced by Emma Watson Official, the recent photo of Rupert Grint and his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, which was featured in the 20th Anniversary issue of Empire Magazine, will be a part of Empire’s first ever photographic exhibition. The 19 “portraits” commisioned for the Empire’s anniversary issue will be exhibited from 21-27 May at Century Club, 61-63 Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1. The exhibition will be open free of charge to the public on Thursday, 21 May, from 10 AM to 10 PM. So if anyone is in London at the time, please drop in and send us a report! After the exhibition closes, the photos will be auctioned in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Children Charity at a star-studded event to be held at the Paramount Club on Thursday, 28 May. As of now we do not know whether Rupert, Daniel and/or Emma will attend this event, because they are busy filming “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I”; but we are checking, and will update you as soon as we find out! Rupert Grint: Wild Target Gets A Distributor!
Wild Target starring Rupert Grint, Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt has finally gotten a distribution deal with U.K. exhib chain Vue Entertainment.CinemaNX, which is backed by the Isle of Man government, will supply Vue Entertainment with it least four films starting with Richard Linklater‘s “Me and Orson Welles.”. We announced earlier this year that post-production should wrap up around July so folks get ready for more Wild Target news as it nears completion! A promotional campaign is also in the works so we will be sure to keep you updated on it’s progress. You can read the entire article here.
