Rupert Grint: Wild Target Gets A Distributor!

May 15, 2009, 3:58PM–Wild Target starring Rupert Grint, Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt has finally gotten a distribution deal with U.K. exhib chain Vue Entertainment. CinemaNX, which is backed by the Isle of Man government, will supply Vue Entertainment with it least four films starting with Richard Linklater‘s “Me and Orson Welles.”. We announced earlier this year that post-production should wrap up around July so folks get ready for more Wild Target news as it nears completion! A promotional campaign is also in the works so we will be sure to keep you updated on it’s progress. You can read the entire article here.

UPDATE: Thanks to Oclumencia we have a picture from Wednesdays filming which shows Rupert, Emma and Dan filming a scene where Ron is tending to an injured Hermione after their escape from Malfoy Manner. You can see it here!

    Awesome. Atleast we won’t have to make petitions for this film! *rofl* Also glad to hear that a promotion plan is in the works.

    I’m still anxious about CB getting a distrbutor. I really hope it does.

    Oh I forgot, the big smile on Rupe’s face in the picture next to the WT news looks like he’s pretty happy about WT getting a Distributor, too. Lol!

    So, question… is this for the UK only? I mean, I have no doubts for the US with the major players in this… but I was just curious. :)

    I saw this on my phone and I was half sleep on a couch. I was like, fantastic it worked. And then I read the names of the actors, and was like huh, OH WILD TARGET!!! I was THAT sleep. I want Tony NOW!!!

    Hope it comes to the States, or I’m-a have to start shakin’ what my mama gave me to fund the plane ticket.

    Regarding the pic, I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!
    I take my reaction back from the first day’s pics, this is MUCH better than the book. We get to SEE Ron with Hermione!!!

    Great news!!! wel, at least it’s going to be screened in the UK, we hope it could be released in other countries too!!.
    The picture is sooo sweet!! I can’t wait to see all Ron-Hermione’s moments xD.

    I believe Wild Target will be released worldwide, especially now that the UK deal has been sealed. I mean, there are so many stars in this film, the director is well known as well, and this particular brand of silly British comedies has always had a huge following.

    YAAAAAAAAAY!! I can’t believe I have been on the computer for more than 5 hours and that I have first read about this in Rupert’s IMDB profile page. How could I spend 5 hours without checking ICM?? XD Anyway, I’m SO happy we finally get to knot something about this film!! *does the happy dance*

    *Squeee again |o| Finally “the fairies” are being nice and stoping with the plays! hahaha ;) (if you guys don’t know what i mean,go take a look at the WT thread xD ;) ) But,yes,CB wins the award,a amazing R/Hr pic is released,and WT gets a distribuitor: great day,great surprises! I always have those surprises when i come here before i go to bed just to “take a look” ,and is just so sweet,i’m going to bed happier! :D Anyway,when we have news,we almost always have more than one good news in the same day,this is so cool… |o| :)
