May 11, 2009, 2:32 PM–Rupert Grint and with his Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) are now on location shooting scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 at Pembrokeshire National Park in Wales! One of the scenes shot is of Rupert in a beard and wig being transformed by polyjuice before going into Gringotts! Thanks to Oclumencia you can view the latest Ron set photos in our gallery here! Other scenes being filmed include Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix), Warwick Davis (Griphook) and Toby Jones (Dobby); many of these images can be found at our lovely affiliate site Oclumencia. We will keep you updated on any new photos that surface of Rupert on set!

He gets to wear a fake beard and a wig because in the book Ron doesn’t take Polijuice Potion
Hermione does some changes to his appearance and he askes her if she can put him a beard, if I remember well XD That’s when Hermione says her infamous ‘OK Ron, come here so I can do you’ XD That line is LEGENDARY!! ^^
But did Ron have black hair in the book when his appearance was changed by Hermione?? I would have loved to see him with his red hair =(

All HP sites are reporting that Warwick Davis is playing Griphook. However, wasn’t Verne Troyer (Mini Me) the original Griphook in PS/SS? Warwick plays Flitwick… oh well maybe he’s playing both roles now. *shrugs*

Yeah. It looks like Warwick took over for Verne Troyer. Btw, I saw that there is another actor in the same outfit as Rupert including the beard and all so some pictures might not be Rupert. However, Rupert is definitely dressed up.

I believe they have to slowly transform Rupert and Emma into Bellatrix and the other death eater, so they probably shoot them with wigs (and fake facial hair) that extend to show a gradual growth into the others. There is the actual actor who plays the death eater with hair and beard, and there are shots of Rupert with the wig and beard (those have Dan tugging on it).
