May 9, 2009, 8:01 AM–A brand new TV commercial for Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson and directed by David Yates, was shown yesterday on the CW channel. TLC has a detailed description of the clip, which contains several scenes with Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. Apart from the already seen scenes of Ron/Lavender kiss, Hermione smacking Ron with a book, and Ron and Harry in Slughorn’s office, there are a few new scenes as well. Ron and Harry standing at the side of the hallway in their school robes, laughing; a new Quiddich scene with Ron hovering near the rings with an arm raised in victory; and several scenes of Ron in the hospital wing, surrounded by Hermione, Lavender, Ginny and the Hogwarts professors. If anyone can capture this video, please send it to staff@rupert-grint.us.
And do not forget to take part in our Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign! The US petition is now only about 50 signatures away from reaching the 1000 mark, so let’s make it happen today!

Oh, I want to see the commercial. I guess with only two months to go unti HBP is being released, I will have to check the German tv program more thoroughly. WIth OotP, two tv channels had specials on it (although that was much closer to the premiere). If I catch something in time, I will record it on my DVD recorder. Then someone just has to tell me how to get it to you. LoL

Yay You Tube! Thanks Soph and Dunigan. Tonight at 8:00-9:00 and 9:00-10:00, there is some kind of show that has wizards in it, I forget the name, but I would think that would be a good show to play this commercial during. So maybe keep an eye out tonight during those hours, according to your time zone. People on You Tube are bitching already. Can’t people just be happy when we get stuff and not complain the second it comes out? How is there too much romance?
