Rupert Grint On Entertainment Weekly Hot List!
As you remember, a few days ago one of the Entertainment Weekly bloggers, Adam B. Vary admitted being “embarrassingly intrigued” by the trailer for Rupert Grint’s latest film Cherrybomb! (For the record that’s the same bloke who was “slightly unnerved” at the sight of a buff Rupert Grint in a green tank top in the first trailer for “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince”!) Anyway Adam’s article (and our reaction to it! hehe) have obviously made the rest of the EW team intrigued too, so Rupert and the Cherrybomb trailer feature both on Scott Brown’s Weekly Hit List and Pop Watch’s “Enter the Fray” recap of the most interesting stories! Well done Entertainment Weekly, though I gotta say took you long enough to notice who’s the man of the moment! (But hey, better late than never). Read all the features and don’t forget to leave your comments — obviously there are people who read them! Thanks Lacey for the heads-up! In other news, our HP affiliates are reporting that a brand new trailer for “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince” will be released in two days, alongside new character banners and posters. The downloadable version of the trailer will be sent to all of us later that day, so stay tuned! Continue reading

She reveals how impressed she was with Rupert’s performance and how quickly Ron Weasley was forgotten when they began rehearsals for the film!
“Rupert was great to work with…. He instantly became Malachy and I was really impressed because it must be hard to shake a character you’ve been playing for almost half your life….”

Gallery Update: Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb Scans!
On this slow news weekend we have added a few scans to the gallery. First of all is a scan from the Belfast Film Festival book that you could obtain at Belfast. A nice full page with an accompanying photo Cherrybomb photo featuring Rupert Grint as Malachy and Kimberley Nixon as Michelle (a high-res version of this photo can be seen in our galleries here.) along with a small unknown tidbit about the running time of the movie as it appeared in Belfast. It clocked in at 80 minutes long. You may view that here.
Another scan is an Irish Times article with Mark Huffman who created Generator Entertainment which is producing the film. The article only briefly mentions Rupert (talking about his star power) but has a nice color photo of the now infamous pool scene that is featured on the poster. You may view that here. Rupert Grint As Ron Weasley: New Wall Scroll
With the release date of the latest installment of the HP saga “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince” approaching, new film related merchandise is launched every day. Our friends at Univers Harry Potter have discovered a new Ron Weasley item at Blister (Japanese merchandise website), namely a painted art wall scroll. We have just added the beautiful painting of Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley to our gallery here: it is similar to some of the previously released promos, however the angle is slightly different and you can also see the Burrow in the background. Thanks to UHP for the heads-up! Continue reading
