April 16, 2009, 4:45pm–Entertainment website E! News has a sneak peek of the first half the last Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer which you can view here. It features new and old bits of Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. In particular, a funny scene involving Ron and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger in class Ron and Hermione fashion! Including a funny bit of an ever classic Ron thing to do–EAT! You can also view the final trailer here! NOTE: The later link doesn’t seem to be working, however if you follow the link to the sneak peek, the trailer pops up after that video.
In other news, David Heyman confirms that the Epilogue of Deathly Hallows will be filmed and that they will use the original actors! NOTE: As some of you will remember, it was actually Rupert himself who first revealed this piece of information in this interview!

Am I the only one who thinks filming the epilogue is a bad idea? I mean, I’m not a fan of the epilogue in the back, but visually, I think it’ll be even worse. I don’t want that being the lame ending. I say end it with a scene post-battle. Much more effective. Or just show the epilogue scene AFTER the credits, so it’s not really the “official” ending of the movie. It’s just a terrible ending imo of the Harry Potter story we’ve seen for 8 movies by that time.

I honestly would feel ripped off if they ended it with a scene at the end of the battle. Just end there……not knowing shit what happens to all of them.
I guess it’s all personal taste. I don’t get the bitching over the epilogue. I was completely fine…or maybe that was becuz my couple was hardcore canon than ever.*lolz*

I don’t mind that epilogue either, but Lacey I think is afraid they might screw it up and they have really done damage to scenes in the past. I don’t know, I am curious though because it would be cool to see Ron in his 30′s with kids. Fingers crossed it comes out good.

Yeah and the funny bit is that TROTK actually snatched what, 11 Oscars?! Or something… Definitely undeserved. Okay so they awarded the entire trilogy but still… the only one who really deserved an Oscar (and didn’t get it) was Andy Serkis.

I was looking forward to the Epilogue myself, but I can see the fear that they might not do it justice. I don’t know how on Earth they could screw that up, it’s right there in front of them! But, it’s been known to happen before…*rolls eyes at the WB*
At least we’ll get to have a glimpse of Rupert, kind of, of what he’ll look like in what, 20 years? lol He’ll be aged like a fine, fine, incredibly hot wine!
