Rupert Grint Visits The Adventure Island!

A fan called Katie B spotted Rupert Grint yesterday at Adventure Island in Southend. He obliged with a lovely photo which you can view here in our gallery! Now, c’mon Rupert… if you can find yourself here, why not make sure to come to Belfast for the premiere of Cherrybomb? Everyone at ICM is waiting for you! Many thanks to Katie for sharing her story and photo with us! And since the photo was taken yesterday, we may assume this is Rupert’s Ron hair in “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I”! Of course, don’t forget our new image of Rupert from Blag Magazine! The lovely Sally shared a trailer with us which you can view here or on Youtube. (Rupert appears about 33 seconds in the video!) And thanks so much to Laura you can view screencaps from this video in our gallery. Also, we have just added the new videos to our Media site (in avi and mov formats). Continue reading

Rupert Grint in Blag Magazine: New Trailer!

Many thanks to Sally A Edwards for informing us that they have added a trailer / making of the new issue on the BLAG website. It shows a shot from their Rupert Grint feature as well as two outtake shots! You can view it here on their site (it is a huge file and it takes a little while to load, but it’s worth the wait), or alternatively, here on Youtube. It’s awesome! (Just pause at 0:33 and enjoy!) Speaking of Youtube, Jo has recently discovered an old Rupert interview (from the “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” era) conducted by Hollywood.com, aptly named “How to make it in Hollywood”! View it here.

Rupert Grint Featured In Total Film!

Rupert Grint is featured in the latest issue of Total Film, one of the leading film magazines in the UK! He talks about his recently finished and upcoming projects, namely Cherrybomb and “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I”. Rupert mentions his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, and he also reveals that so far he has only gotten the script of DH 1, so we may assume that the DH 2 has not been fully scripted yet. Here’s my favourite Cherrybomb related question and answer. TF: “Were you getting up to as much mayhem as your character Malachy at 16?” Rupert: “I definitely can’t relate to their kind of lifestyle. It’s quite a scary world.” View the scan here. Also, TF has a new feature on the latest “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince” trailer on their website, so you may view it here. Continue reading

Rupert Grint And Co-stars Pay Tribute To Rob Knox

As you have probably heard, the man who stabbed Harry Potter actor Robert Knox to death was jailed for life this morning. The 18-year-old Knox was killed in a frenzied attack outside a bar in southeast of London in June 2008, as he tried to protect his younger brother. You will also remember that Rupert Grint attended the funeral, as you may read here. The Sun posted a photo of Rob’s mother Sally Knox with a copy of “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince”, where his fellow HP actors have left comforting messages. The Knox family has decided to release this, because they vowed to campaign to stamp out knife crime among British youngsters. Among the actors who paid tribute to Rob Knox is Rupert Grint, who wrote: “Rob, It was an honour to have known you and whenever I’m on the Southend strip I’ll be thinking of you. Rest in peace mate.” Continue reading

Exclusive Cherrybomb Review By Fugitive Star!

Ice Cream Man can’t get enough of Rupert Grint and his latest film Cherrybomb, and today we have a new treat for you: a very detailed and beautifully written review. The author is our friend Soph aka Fugitive Star, who traveled all the way from Los Angeles to Dublin just to see Cherrybomb! However this is no surprise, because she has already proved herself as a dedicated Rupert Grint fan. As some of you might remember, several months ago she joined ICM staffer Lyn in an event organized by Reelz Channel, where they talked about Rupert and his upcoming projects to various industry professionals. It’s been a real pleasure to meet Soph in Dublin, and I’m so glad that she enjoyed the film as much as I did! Read her review here. (Warning: the review contains minor spoilers and some strong language.) Continue reading
