Total Film Interviews Half-Blood Prince Cast And Crew!

One of the UK’s leading film magazines, Total Film has just published a new in-depth feature on “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince”. Although there are no new photos, you’ll be delighted to read new interviews with the cast and crew, namely Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Tom Felton and the director David Yates. I have added all relevant pages to our gallery starting from here. Beware those of you who haven’t read the final book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, because the TF journalists have published some pretty enormous DH spoilers! Thanks Snitch Seeker for the scans. I should mention that there are only a few Rupert quotes: however please remember that he was featured in the last month’s issue of Total Film — if you missed that interview, read it here. So, I suppose we should feel honoured because Rupert got a separate interview while the rest of the cast were only featured in a general Half-Blood Prince related article. ;) Continue reading

Rupert Grint: Latest Film Cherrybomb Premiered In Belfast!

Yesterday evening, the UK premiere of Rupert Grint`s new film Cherrybomb took place at the Jameson Belfast Film Festival, and half of the ICM staff were present: namely, Tao, Jo, Karo, AJ and Soph! Although the main cast Rupert Grint, Robert Sheehan, Kimberley Nixon and James Nesbitt could not attend the screening due to other commitments, we had the pleasure to meet and talk to directors Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D’Sa. We can happily tell you that they are in negotiations with a distributor! We also spoke to composer David Holmes, who told us that the soundtrack will be released eventually! On Sunday, we took a tour to most of the filming locations of Cherrybomb and our two wonderful tour guides gave us lots of information about the shoot, the film and Rupert Grint, which we are going to share with you soon, together with the rest of the exclusives. So stay tuned!
And finally, a big THANK YOU to everyone involved with Cherrybomb for making our time in Belfast such an unforgettable experience! Update: Jameson Belfast Film Festival has just announced that additional tickets have been put up on sale for tomorrow’s screening of Cherrybomb! You may purchase them online here. And don’t forget to listen to the interview with Lisa Barros D’Sa, where she reveals the movie’s original title — it’s right here! Continue reading

Lisa Barros D’Sa Talks Cherrybomb Title!

Several members of ICM team attended the UK premiere of Rupert Grint’s latest completed film Cherrybomb at the Jameson Belfast Film Festival yesterday (and they will also attend the additional screening tomorrow). While we are waiting for them to start sending their exclusives, I have discovered a short but very cute interview with one of the Cherrybomb directors, Lisa Barros D’Sa. She talked to a Belfast journalist Keith Anderson about the movie title; to be precise she revealed the original title and the reasons why they changed it to Cherrybomb! From what I can tell this is just an excerpt from a much longer feature that is to follow: so, listen to the interview here and keep stalking this page in the next couple of days! Continue reading

Cherrybomb The Highlight Of Belfast Film Festival!

Rupert Grint’s film Cherrybomb, which is to have a gala screening today at the Jameson Belfast Film Festival, is given lots of attention in local media. Culture Nothern Ireland has interviewed the Festival director Michelle Devlin and one of the Cherrybomb directors, Glenn Leyburn. Ms Devlin has singled out Cherrybomb as her personal highlight of the festival, and she is as eager to see the film as the rest of you! Also, Mr Leyburn talks about the film and how excited he is to “bring it back home”. Of course, he mentions Rupert Grint, and points out that Rupert has done a flawless Belfast accent in this movie. You can download the podcast from our media section here. Also, Cherrybomb actress (and our friend) Kat Kirk was interviewed by Belfast Telegraph, and she briefly talked about the movie: read the interview here. Continue reading

Cherrybomb At Belfast Film Festival

With only two days left until the UK premiere of Rupert Grint’s latest flick Cherrybomb, it’s time to let you know what to expect in the next few days, and also to add a few words about the Belfast Film Festival itself. First, we should inform you that the last information we have received is that Rupert Grint won’t attend the screening, because he is busy filming “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I”. However, things do change at the very last moment, and the Festival PR team is still announcing his attendance, so maybe there’s a trace of hope that he’ll make it eventually. Also, Robert Sheehan’s agent has informed us that Robbie will be in Los Angeles working on another project, so it’s unlikely that he will show up in Belfast as well. However, the rest of the Cherrybomb team, including the directors Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D’Sa, will be there; so, expect plenty of exclusives! The Belfast Film Festival was established in August 1995 and has continually grown over the years, to become one of the key annual events in Northern Ireland. This year, the festival kicked off with the Irish premiere of Little Ashes — a film which chronicles the life of a young Salvador Dali, played by Rupert’s Harry Potter co-star Robert Pattinson. Cherrybomb, as you all know, has been selected for the Mid-Festival Gala Screening on Monday 30 March, and due to a huge demand for tickets, an extra screening has been added on Wednesday 1 April.
